I agree. We have a pretty good quality of life in Alberta. For all those who want to slay the deficit with massive cuts, how exactly are you suffering under the current spending formula? It's not like your taxes are being increased.

Stelmach has many faults, but I'll give the PC's this: At least they are living in reality, unlike the WAP.

I'm no political strategist, but I'm fairly confident that if the Tories are going to lose an election based on this budget, it would have happened just as quickly if they'd slashed and burned. Albertans don't like massive cuts to public services. After all, it's better to complain about government waste, than have no government services.

I have a problem with that. I don't think that people with money are better than people that do not. Health care should be a right and everyone should have equal access to it.
