Burn this city, relationships are a two way street and the parties have to find common ground. If women your age don't take you seriously, then are you the same level of maturity as them (more mature or less mature)? You may have to expand your dating range to find the right fit for you...and this is how these age gap relationships happen. This lady at work is mature for her age so I can see her dating an older man.

I'm 33. My girlfriend is 21. We get along great and even live together now.
Maturity is a huge factor in these scenarios. Most young girls are barely tolerable (mentally) but luckily I found one who is very mature for her age and with eerily similar mannerisms, opinions and interests.
For the first time in my life, I'm NOT the one hounding for sex all the time!!
Life is good

TBH, if no one cared about age, this wouldn't be an issue.
If you 'click' with someone, as long as they're over 18... who cares what age they really are? Imagine if noone really discussed age, and it was all based on connection and personality.
Just because you're of different age, doesn't mean you're of the same maturity level. Every single person is different. At my age (26), I've got way different priorities than lots of my friends at my age. Doesn't make anyone superior or inferior because of that, however.

Am I the only one who can't stop picturing Skyler from South Park, whenever someone mentions how "Mature" their much younger girlfriend is?

I'm 29 and my lady-friend is 20, it works well for us because I'm really, really immature.

Yeah, but Skyler was a born-to-be rock superstar. What pre-teen with braces wouldn't want that?

I can't believe nobody thanked GL. That clip was hilarious. It was in response to that hot elementary teacher keeping a student for special detention. NIce!
I think that whatever is done, as long as it is done with respect with the law so no one can be prosecuted due to any fallout. It's a statutory rape charge that won't easily be forgotten.
I've dated younger, had a 19 YO GF a couple years ago, I would have been 25. She was real mature. She was smart as a whip and confident. She also had a strong desire to gain experience. She was a good girl. I broke it off, cuz I'm not the LTR type.
I've dated women older, and I like the fact they seem to want to be made to feel young again, this gets tricky when their life takes over and you aren't having fun. Yet, if they take care of you, you still feel like a sexually gratified child. You sure learn a lot, but it's feeling like the less experienced in the relationship can make you vulnerable to manipulation. I sometimes am up for it, but not in a LTR. Perhaps the deal with age difference, experience transference and acquisition.

Two things, when you're 70 years old like you are 13 years isn't that much of a difference. The other one is that you are a creep, those old CPHL pictures you used to post prove that.

hahahahaha!
My wife and I started dating when I was 28 and she was 20. This will be our 12th year together. If it works, what's the problem?

To me, if you have a relative: sister, cousin, niece, etc who is equal to or slightly older that the female that would be weird. Similarly if the person you're dating could easily be your kid: >=38 yrs old dating a 20 yr old would be weird.
EDIT: Unless your an old billionaire who walks around in Pajamas all the time. Then you're a hero.

That statement is very true. However I'm sure that's the first arguement trotted out by the accused in statutory rape charges.

I was 27 when I first met my fiance who was 19 (turning 20 that year). It seemed bad at first but now it's no big deal. 7 years difference...meh she was legal so I didn't care although I did check to make sure she wasn't a student at the school first!

I dated a terrific gal for months before her birthday rolled around......that's where the trouble began. I knew I was older but never thought we were 9 years apart. I walked away because my buddies wouldn't stop with the "1/2 +7 Rule" garbage. After weeks and weeks of them harping about her age, it eventually got into my head, weirded me out and I called it off. Of all the stupid things I've done, that was the worst.
If they're happy and it's a healthy situation (no drugs, abuse, destructive behavior), butt out. Would it be a problem if he was dating a 35 year old that you found annoying or boring?

I hope not, that would be admitting the act took place, which has the same effect as a guilty plea.
The first argument should be the shaggy defense: "It wasn't me"
