Considering what he drives I doubt hes gone far off the beaten path. Besides theres plenty of places set aside for that. The two things arent comparable. Mud dries, grass grows back, garbage lasts a lot longer than tire tracks.

Belen Escarano. Cody's caretaker, said Monday that the actor originally resisted doing the commercial because, he said, "Indians don't cry." Ms. Escarano said the tear was, in fact, glycerine.

Heather Rogers, creator of the documentary film Gone Tomorrow: The Hidden Life of Garbage and book of the same name, classifies Keep America Beautiful as one of the first greenwashing corporate fronts, created in response to Vermont's 1953 attempt to outlaw disposable containers. The focus on litter, and indeed construction of the modern concept of litter, is seen as an attempt to divert responsibility from industries that rely on disposable and planned obsolescence products to the consumer that improperly disposes of them.

I stay on designated trails in designated off-road areas.

Hey... I resent that... I could go off the beaten path if I wanted to... as long as the water wasn't too deep, the mud wasn't tooooo thick (I do have a winch you know... ), and the trails weren't too steep. I've yet to go somewhere where I haven't been able to get out..

My truck (the pic was taken before the winch was installed)..
