Apparently, you must have BIO 30 to post in this thread.

Back to the topic at hand, as it is I'm stuck in Red Deer, I have been away from home for a week and now I can't get home. Thankfully I have managed to find laundry facilities. I have exhausted front-back (inside out) front-back.

^^^Thanks, and gross.

RCMP have issued official notice of HWY2 re-opening.

Love this from the RCMP Edmonton:

RCMP Traffic Units from Ponoka, Red Deer and Innisfail wish to advise all motorists that Highway 2 is in very poor winter driving conditions and travel is not recommended.

There is a tow advisory out meaning if you require a tow truck, you will be picked up; however, your vehicle will have to remain until such time as the highway conditions improve.

Kinda sounds like, "Yeah, we'll get to it." Don't blame the trucks for not wanting to be out there either in these conditions.

Jeez, that was kind of a ######y thing to say, having to take one or two extra courses after you graduate is normal. I have a few friends from high school who did this just because they changed their minds about what field they wanted to get into and had to get the necessary courses to get into it, not because they failed in high school or are stupid or anything.

took me 45 minutes to drive from Chestermere to Langdon. partly because of poor conditions, but mostly because of the white knucklers doing 30 on the highway. i'm no speed demon mind you, i was comfortable doing 80 on hwy 1 but no more on the really sketchy parts

That's the best insider information you can get. If a professional driver is not going to venture out in this, I am going to avoid it too.

It's go time. Airdrie to west Calgary. If I don't make it, know that I loved CP. It brought me great enjoyment... especially 1 game losing streak meltdown posts.

Toodles!

I'll post what I find on my adventure when I get home.

I have to drive my brother to hockey in around half an hour.
Not looking forward to it, wish his coach just cancelled the practice.

Edit - Nevermind, my dads leaving work early, so he will drive him.

That isn't really how it works. I was out a little while ago and I had no trouble.

Tow truck drivers do this sort of thing all of the time. When there are too many cars to tow right away they just leave them.

Cops do the same. They won't be going to every single accident scene today.

Sometimes it is better to just let things blow over.
