Bloody Mary = Tomato Juice
Caesar = Clamato Juice
Edit: Komskies beat me to it. Anyways, I'm not sure if Clamato Juice is even available in the States?

A caesar isn't as thick and tomatoey tasting as a bloody mary. I hate bloody marys... I love caesars. A caesar is spicier too.

I believe it is, how in the world would someone think about mixing tomato and clam juice together? Was it intentional?

1. I like the chat thread turn this has taken.
2. Ceasers were invented in Calgary??? I seriously had no idea about that.
3. Please take EBTZ12 to your Philly forum, consider it a gift from CP.

Calgary also came up with the B52.

The origin of the B-52 is uncertain. One school of thought is that the B-52 was invented at the Keg Steakhouse in Calgary, Alberta in 1977.

Chuck, hopefully you stick around. It is always nice to have a respected member of another team's fan base to contribute to CP.
BTW where the hell is NHMEN or whatever his name was? The Wild fan that provided us with updates on teh Wild?
Did he commit ritual suicide following the Wild's 8th straight road loss or what?

I've often wondered that myself. Regardless, a suprisingly tasty combination.

Yeah it sucks, I grew up watching the Flyers at the Spectrum. It was a great place to watch games and had an mystic about it from the old Broad Street Bullies days.
Thank you all for the compliments, you aren't bad folk at all. We Flyers fans feel somewhat of bond with your team in that they don't shy away from the rough stuff and don't play like those pansies in Pittsburgh do.
Unfortunately there in a growing number of Flyers fans that are walking away from the game because they feel the league has let them down.

Care to elaborate?
I can only assume you are referring to the "new" NHL style of play but I'd still like to hear specifically what you mean.

That is exactly it. Some of the rules changes are good for the game such as taking out the redline. We hate the shootouts, what the hell is an overtime loss and why does a team get a point for it? Since when is hooking when you tap your stick blade on a players glove? The games have turned into parades to the penalty boxes. I don't want to see 85 power plays a game. Thats not hockey.
We look at what went on in the playoffs last year and want to puke. First you have Colin Campbell flat out stating that there are different rules for different players and team, and when challenged about it on HNIC he tried to defend it. Where is the integrity in that? We had Carcillo and Camallari do the same thing (punch someone in the head after a face off) on the same night and one guy gets suspended and the other doesn't? Why does the league go against their own rule and not suspend Malkin in the finals? The blatant favouritism that the Penguins get is disgusting and unparalleled, Mario Lemiuex and Wayne Gretzgy never got the favourtism Cindy and Frankenstein now enjoy. How is it the league allowed that team to tank for so long, but when Quebec was doing it they changed the rules and implemented a lottery into the draft.
Why the hell are there hockey teams in the sun belt? Nobody cares down there, the only people that do are those that moved from the north and those people follow their home town teams. Teams should never have been moved out of canada.
To sum it up the NHL has become Disneys Stars on ice, if I wanted to watch that I would go get a DVD of Kristi Yamaguchi or buy tickets for Shrek on ice. In my lifetime, hockey was never better then the 1980's you had the Oilers playing finesse hockey, the Flyers played grinding rough hockey, the Flames were a great mix of the two, the Habs had multiple players that would drop the gloves. You had Bob Probert, Dave Brown, Tie Domi, Toney Twist, Chris Nilan etc. You had big hits, defensemen could actually touch a forward and not get called for a penalty. Goalies pads were normal sizes . . .

Chuck that is a very interesting view. I don't fully agree or disagree but certainly something that might be worth debating in the FOI forum.
Obviously yours is only one opinion but I'll take your word for it that more fans than just you think this way.
Also, it is so funny to see a US fan say they think hockey in the sun belt is lame. Glad to see you guys see it too. I think some of those franchises can be successful but it doesn't take a genius to realize hockey in Phoenix and Atl probably won't work. Ever.

Many Flyers fans feel that none of the teams in the South should exist. They should be moved back to Winnipeg and Quebec city. Move a couple of teams to other Canadian cities. Why is there no team in Seattle?
Carolina, Atlanta, Nashville, Dallas, the Floridas, Phoenix are all struggling financially. Some of those team should disappear for good. The Islanders are a mess because they can't get a new building.

Isn't the draft lottery a result of the pansies in Pittsburgh throwing games to draft Lemieux back in the 80's? I hate Pittsburgh.
