Calgary is owning Edmonton in the "Battle of Alberta". A Stamps win and Calgary is 5-0 for October (CFL, NHL, WHL) with a game tomorrow to come.

Big run by Summers. I believe Burris is on the bench as well.

That was the Kamau "Fumbleitis" Peterson that I used to watch when he was with the Stamps.

The Stamps will finish 3-1 vs the Esks and I believe have won 9 of the last 12 meetings.

We are in the PLAYOFFS!!! Whoo-hoo!! Calgary 30-7

The Stamps need to play Edmonton all the time because that's how it makes Burris blood boiling.

Good game by the Stamps. They had a slow start in the first half but the 2nd half they came in on fire. Our defense stepped up big time punishing Ricky Ray almost every play. Ricky Ray will have to put a lot of Ben Gay tonight and tomorrow and eat Frito Lay all day.

Offense: Romby Bryant, huge game catching for over 200 yards tonight. He's there when the Stamps needed him. Nik Lewis played well as well especially in the 2nd half. Joffrey is always Joffrey. He is very consistent all season so far especially when the Stamps gets him involved. Burris I think had an awesome 2nd half. He looks comfortable there especially after he started running the ball. Hank is back!! Jeff Pilon and the OLine came back and played a lot better in the 2nd half. Pilon struggled in the first half but he was huge in the 2nd. Great to see the Burris-Romby is starting to connect with each other.

Defense: DLine and LB were all over Ricky Ray in the 2nd half. Secondary shut down Fred Stamps and company. That's what happenned when the pass rush is working. I really feel for Ray with all the pounding he got from the DLine. The Esks receivers got punished as well after the catch. If they can play defense the way they played 2nd half defense most of the games, I can't see us losing a game.

Special Teams: I thought the coverage team played well. Burke Dales been playing well in the past few games. His directional kick is improving.

Coaching staff: I thought the offensive calling were good. They tried to mix up the plays a lot. On those TDs they scored, we saw a lot of plays. Short passes, Reynolds running, big bomb on Bryant, Burris running and Burris reading the defense really helps too.

I am very happy with the win. It's awesome for our Stamps to kick our rival from the North's butt in this game.

I am quite confident Winnipeg will win.

Edmonton could still make the playoffs regardless, but seeing them place 4th in the West is going to be awesome.

It would be sweet. Any time the Eski-blows lose, it is fan-tastic!

So after this week. Calgary and Saskatchewan are still tied for first place in the West. Both of them already clinched the playoff berth. BC Lions is 3 points behind the 2 team while Edmonton is 5 points behind. 2 games remaining.

CALGARY has to play BC(away), and Saskatchewan(away)
SASKATCHEWAN to play Hamilton(away) and Calgary(home)
BC to play Calgary(home) and Edmonton(home)
EDMONTON to play Toronto(home) and BC(away)

I am hoping both the Hamilton and Winnipeg keeps on winning while Edmonton lose to Toronto and BC to avoid crossover.

HAMILTON will play Saskatchewan(home) and Winnipeg(away)
WINNIPEG will play Montreal(away) and Hamilton(home)

It looks like we will have to wait until the last week in order to find out what position teams will be in. I'll say BC's got the easiest tasks playing last 2 games at home BUT they are playing both Alberta teams. So it might not be that easy.

Hamilton, Winnipeg and Edmonton all have 14 points.

yep it'll be an interesting last 2 weeks. i love this. I just hope the Stamps get first. I also don't want the crossover to happen, i want Edmonton to miss the playoffs, and Hamilton to get second, one more win for the Stamps means home team advantage and the winner of the Calgary Sask game gets first, loser gets 2nd or 3rd, depending on this weeks games. I think Edmonton is lucky to play Toronto. if they lose that game, BC clinches a playoff spot as they lost the season series between the teams. I want Edmonton to lose, but an edmonton win makes the final game between the two more important. and I hope Hamilton can pull out a win against sask, they could clinch if Edmonton also loses.

Personally I thought the Esks and Oilers both showed up. Lots of fire in both games but the Stamps/Flames outworked them. Stamps defense was very good and the offense woke up finally. I didn't think either team got lucky this weekend. Both of those victories to me were impressive. The other teams were willing to battle but the Stamps/Flames took it to them.
