I'm in section 218 and while I don't always yell red, I will now.

FacePaint is the one encouraging us to do this. You should direct your anger towards him.

Ok, instead of chanting RED we'll chant REDRUM... will that make you happy?

While we're at it please ban anyone from the Dome who yells "shoot" on the powerplay b/c it has nothing to do with how the Flames practice the PP.

Lastly, fire Harvey the Hound b/c a dog is not a Flame... the only option is to light him on fire, then he can be the Calgary Flames mascot.

Perhaps we need a poll on this? LOL...

Could the kind members of Section 218 please provide three season tickets to the members of Section 315 so we can get rid of three people the entire section hates? Thank you for your generosity.

I don't think yelling red is that big of a deal. I do it a couple games a year when I know it's going to be an intense game and want to get fired up.

"Shoot" on the powerplay is a whole different issue. We should ban the people who yell shoot, when it isn't a good time to shoot!

I am in 219 usually. Last week we were in 210 (as hubby was given tickets at work) and I was the ONLY one to yell RED. Mind you, I did notice that the whole section was pretty quiet for the game - I prefer the yelling end! It seemed as though more people did the RED yell as the season progressed last year.

I think I also heard them shouting RED in Washington too during last years playoffs.

In Philadelphia they should shout out ORANGE!

219 here. There are some "red" yellers in our section, myself included.

My season tickets are in 213, but, i've also been known to frequent 225 with my best friend. Both sections yell RED always. GO FLAMES GO!!
And can i just say, this seems to be the looooooooongest pre season ever!!
