My problem is I have a terrible memory when it comes to people I have met... and I meet a lot.
Have been to Pete's Pub couple of times.
Some thru the buy & sell.
And of course I hired FireFly, not many you can say that...

Haha, I hadn't thought of that! Make it five for me, then. I met him...a whole bunch of times when he was in Pittsburgh. Practices were open to the public at a rink I drive past nearly every day, and I was working with my dad at the time (...which meant a ton of free time to do whatever I wanted), so I went to a practice every week, it seemed, and he always stopped to sign/get pictures/whatever.
So I've met five CPers!

No, but conversely, FireFly hired ME... once... for one night only. PyRoMaNiAc was involved too.
I have met way too many to name... actually, I have just met too many!!! Sorry, Locke.
Probably about 60+ so far.

Good for you!!! I have never, ever been to a Panthers practice, or that of any other team. And I don't have it in me to ask for photo ops/ autographs.

I've got to be at least 50+. Mostly through cp softball and buy/sell. The most random one is chid. In Rome, I used to hang around the train station and solicit backpackers to stay at my hostel. Her and her travel mates went for my spiel and they chilled at Hostel Kiara for a few days back in 2006. A couple years later she signed up on CP out of the blue, and now we're CPSW teammates!
It was also kinda funny with troutman. I hired him to be the real estate lawyer for a house I sold to a friend. Talked to him on the phone a couple times, but never met him until a year later when we became CPSW teammates.
Then there's Locke. His mom brought me home from the bar one night and her and I were having a great time on the couch in the living room, when he bolted up out of the basement with a baseball bat and demanded scotch. And now we're CPSW teammates! If only I had known that he can't swing a bat.

And 4X4's life officially sounds more interesting than mine. Do you drink Dos Equis?

Well right now I'm drinking bud. But I don't always drink bud. When I don't, I drink Dos Equis. Or tequila. Or Gibsons Finest. Or Stella. Or Listerine.

I've been to a bunch of practices, several training camp days, etc. It was easier back then because all practices were open to the public, now the open practices are scattered.
One of the best was sometime during the 07-08 season, I was driving my sister to work, and there were a bunch of cars at their practice rink--but no practice was scheduled. I just couldn't figure why there would be a bunch of cars there at 11 am on a Monday, and since it's on the way, I stopped on the way home...lo and behold, they were finishing up a practice.
Jordan Staal flipped a puck up over the glass to me (much to the chagrin of the giggly teenyboppers who were sitting right at the glass with signs).
Practices are a blast, you really get to see a different side of the players, how they interact in non-game situations, it's really cool to see.

I guess I've stayed away from practices so as not to add to the "puck bunny" thing. Sitting behind the bench was bad enough.
