You know what? Framers with hammers and music would be a welcome change from the jack-hammer sound I heard this morning. It sounded like friggin machine guns out there. It scared the crap out of the dog too, which was pretty cool.
I was just surprised at how excruciatingly loud it was this morning... however, it's probably more about how loud it is around my place overall. Living in a basement suite with a loud roomie sucks, and we live right beside a park where they mow the lawns early in the morning, and they've also had this random circle of middle aged people beating bongo drums and stuff there.
I think this thread is mostly all those frustrations coming to a head.

Your right, you do point out what people have missed, and that it's that you are annoyed someone woke you up at 7am. I guess I was just looking for more of a back and forth discussion, when all you were looking for was a reply of, "yeah, you sound annoyed that you were woken up early" kind of comment.
So, after reviewing here is my official reply, "That sucks you were woken up early".

Lets face it there are a lot of a hole people on this board who like to show that they are smarter than somebody else at least once a day. It is how they can make it through the day. At least they are smarter than one person in the world today.

You could always put a flaming bag of dog crap on his doorstep at 2 in the morning to get him back....just a suggestion.
If he is allowed to start making noise at 7am then I guess he can but it sure doesn't show a lot of respect and perhaps you shouldn't feel too bad if you ever have company in the backyard making noise in the evening. This dude owes you a casserole, in my opinion!

7 AM? Who made that law up, my dad? I wouldn't get out of bed for supermodel sex that early. 8 AM would be more reasonable now that it's the 21st century and we don't have to get up early enough to make sure the milkman isn't stealing the begonias.
This reminds me of last year, when I took a week off and was eagerly anticipating sleeping till noon every day; that was the same week they started renovating the apartment directly above me, and apparently it required an entire week of sanding the walls to get all the old paint off or something - all I know is every day at 8 AM, the sander started up, and didn't shut off for more than 10-15 minutes until 5 PM. So much for my master plan...
