Good episode... but come on... He get's the one movie he's been killing to do, then we don't see anything about it? It seems they skipped every single possible storyline that we ended with last year. Very poor season premiere if you ask me. It's like they heard about the complaints that last season was boring so they threw together this one which was all fun. Could have made it the second episode instead of worked on tying it in for the first one. For god sakes, try a little continuity once in a while.
My only complaint is there is constant audio drop outs. DAMN YOU SHAW!!
Why the hell does that happen? It is really annoying.
In other, somewhat lecherous news, I was disappointed to see Sloane wearing those baggy, beat-up old jeans. That girl is ahead of the game -- could this be the beginning of the end of the tight-pants era?

I am athiest, but god is a man. And he will never take tight-pants away from us. He gave them to us for a reason, the same reason he gave us short shorts, short skirts, and the best of all, tight short shorts.
As for this episode abandoning all the plot lines from last season, I hope that means a longer season, ie. not 13 episodes, more like 20.
Wow, was just looking for the number of episodes for this season, and came across a list of women who will be making appearances as gf's or cast in season 6. Some big names in there Sadly, it also was a spoiler . So far I can only find references to a 12 episode season.

I forgot how much I liked this show until I watched the premiere. Good to have the boys back! Also, whoever picks the soundtracks for each episode deserves about 12 high fives. Old school Easy E and finishes it off with The Verve, well played.
Also, I noticed Turtle's lost of s***load of weight. I think Meadow Soprano's snappin him into line.

100% agreed. They finished it off with a great song. Love that Lucky Man song.
I really hate Kevin Connolly as an actor. He's absolutely terrible. The character he plays in Entourage lacks any depth and if you watch him as an actor in any other film, he plays the exact same character.
'OK' premiere. I thought it jumped around too much and didn't really bridge last season to this one as well. Although, I agree with Sainters7 - great soundtrack - that and Jeremy Piven made the whole episode enjoyable overall.
Ok episode last night, I didn't think it was all that funny. a couple good moments, but didn't think it was great, but it does set up where this season is going. It's all about friendship and whether or not these guys will remain friends when they go their own separate routes.
Jerry Ferrara sure did lose a lot of weight and even put on some bulk in those arms.

When was Vince killing to do this movie?? Sure it was Scorsese but never was it mentioned that he wanted to do a Gatsby movie really badly. And I don't think we have seen or heard the last of the movie. I'm pretty sure I saw in a behind the scenes feature where they have Vince at the premiere of the movie.
We have seen Vince make a movie the last 2 seasons, we didn't need to see it three in a row.
It's not always best to continue right where you left off. Let the viewer use some imagination.
It should be obvious, but just in case. Jeremy Piven = God.
I am also excited for Vince's new movie where he protrays Enzo Ferrari. I am hoping that means a ton of old/new Ferrari's!!
I agree with Clever_Iggy on Connolly, out of all the characters, I hate "E". Drama, Turtle, Ari, are all gold, Vince is ok, but I hate "E". He acts like a tool all the time, cocky all the time, but he still has Sloan. Dick.
