Wow good to see both of you are doing ok. Pretty scary incident. My dad travels a lot on the highway and he's told me some horror stories. Definetly could have been worse.

Out of curiousity how much would you say the deer weighed? Are they pretty heavy? I would think they would crush me.

That grim reaper is sorta acting real feminine.

Does this thing actually work? I always wondered if this was like the simpsons Tiger repellant stone, or most of homeopathic medicine for that matter.

I think these were proven not to work because of the doppler effect when driving.

This is the info from the site I bought ours from. I should have posted this web site first but I forgot the name - I have since found it. This is the best device out there (supposedly) http://www.deerwhistle.com/

Am I the only one picturing the Tommy Boy deer in the car scene?

I smoked a deer 16 years ago, but it wasn't that bad. Glad everyone was OK.

So the car in front of you hit the deer first and then it was flying through the air from that impact and came into your windsheild?!?! That is freaky. I'm glad you guys are both alright. Also, likely a really good thing that it's antlers got lost somewhere between the first car and your windshield before it's head landed on your poor girlfriend.

Kudos on managing to keep control of the car after all that. Scary stuff.

You must have nerves of steel to be able to not over react in that situation.

Crazy story and pics. Glad to see that you and your GF are alright.

I didn't really need to see the doe's anus to make the Whitetail determination, Kris, but thanks for being thorough with the pictures.

Nice catch!

Did you get any of the fur in your mouth?

I swear deer fur just falls off like nothing, especially when hit. I see lot's of it on your seats.

I was hoping the first thing you said after stopping would've been "DOH!"
