Vanilla Sky (both the original and the Cruise/Cruz version) still keeps me glued to the screen even though it gets more than a little weird at times. I don't know what it is but if it's on t.v. I'm gonna sit and watch.
Amazon Women on the Moon cracked me up. After ERaserhead I never looked at babies, cradles or cornish hens (is that what those were?) the same way again. Also anything by Stan Brakhage and Jarmusch's stuff, especially Stranger Than Paradise because it's Florida kitsch.
Cabin Fever. I saw it in the theatre, because I heard Rider Strong was in it, and I had a crush on him when I was younger.
It seemed like it would be decent horror fare, but it went really weird.
For instance:
I still have no idea what that is...
Also, Wickerman with Nick Cage. All bad.
By far the stupidest scene in movie histroy. "Pancakes, pancakes. No pancakes". Then he/she (I can't tell) bites his hand and in slo-mo he yell's "ffuuuuuu****kkkk" I was laughing the entire time.
^^I was crying in the theater when I saw that. It was hilarious, but I still have no idea what is going on with that. Why does he want pancakes? Why does he bust out with the kung-fu? What's going on with his hair? Why does the guy not leave when the kid busts out the kungfu? It's just so bizarre.
