The Gameworks in Vegas is also pretty sweet - we wasted the majority of an afternoon there. They have original Space Invaders, Centipede, Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga and other machines, plus about a half-dozen pinball (Sopranos, Simpsons? hmm I was kinda drunk at the time). The place is pretty huge and there's games there for everyone, all the way from the classics through the 80's and 90's.
We played all the way through the Jurassic Park lightgun game; my brother and I were on the trigger and my poor sister-in-law was in charge of feeding more credits into the machine when we died - which happened a lot. My hand ached the next day like it was on fire, as I am a big proponent of the "work the trigger as fast as a machine-gun and never stop shooting" theory of gameplay, and we must have been playing at least an hour on that one game.
I think there are Gameworks in other cities around the US as well, and I definitely recommend going if you can.

Though this thread is bloody old, thought I'd update it as we've done some recent pinhunting in the city. Here's what we've found:
Loco Lou's - Batman (Stern) & Buck Hunter, both tables squeaky clean. Excellent shape.
Tubby dog - Funhouse, also in excellent shape. Maintained by the same gent as above.
Rip's Pub in Millrise - Spider-Man (Stern), great shape but a touchy tilt sensor
Cineplex Crossiron Mills - Iron Man & Buck Hunter, good shape but could use a clean/wax
Cineplex Chinook - Indiana Jones (Stern) - great shape
Cineplex Westhills - Sharkey's Shootout, playable but needs serviced
Blind Monk 12ave SW - Avatar, great shape
Kartworld - Terminator 2 & Fish Tales, both in need of service; slingshots are toast on T2, autoplunger's goobered & left flipper sticks on FishTales.
Shaker's Fun Center - LOTR & Simpsons Pinball Party; general illumination not functional on either table & both desperately need cleaning. Not worth the trip.
Happy Thanksgiving, though the holiday's playing second fiddle to our Firepower coming home tonight. w00t! Take care, all.

Correction, just a couple of weeks ago the Blind Monk shipped out the Avatar machine for the new Tron one.
Didn't like the Avatar one much, Tron is great. They usually switch their machines every few months there.
Did not know about the pins at Kartworld or Shakers, thanks for the info.
I can also add, there is a Star Wars Episode: 1 at Olympic Billiards on 17th. 2 blocks East of 14th St. right next door to LP Foods. Trying to remember what's at the airport, Ripley's Believe It Or Not, Lord of the Rings, Simpsoms, Attack From Mars, Elvis. Past security there is Junkyard, Rollercoaster Tycoon and Pirates of the Carribean. Think I'm forgetting a few.
Rip's Pub in Millrise now has a Transformers. Good game, but not as enjoyable as some of Stern's other modern titles. Hoping to see an AC/DC in town sometime soon, seems like Rip's and the Blind Monk have some kind of rotating deal with SML (I assume.) Speaking of the Blind Monk, Tron has now been replaced with Batman. Great game, but a bit of a shame considering there's one at Loco Lou's and at the Hose & Hound in Inglewood as well.
ShredLox, any luck finding an AC/DC on location yet? Saw one recently at the SML location at MacLeod & Heritage, for sale and not playable of course. Interested in trying it out.
Pin that I can remember at the airport:
Sopranos (surprisingly good)
Simpsons
Attack from Mars
Junkyard
Lord of the Rings
Some weird casino based one
Southpark.
