I like the snow, haha suckers.

I couldn't imagine living in a place where it's summer all year round, i like the suprise of waking up in the morning to 10 cms of snow in the middle of march.

Hubby and I are at the airport, waiting for a flight to Houston/Pittsburgh (Yes, we're taking the scenic route). Quite a number of Cdn flights cancelled already. Downtown was a mess at 3:45, nearly ran down several people who felt the need to walk down the middle of 12Ave.

Tornados in the mountains of NC??? Nope....never even seen a warning for this area in 9+ years.

The one time I did experience one close up and personal...was in High River though.

its heavy, but not bad compared to other spring storms... wait and see how today plays out.

of course, the roads will all be a giant clusterfk, and I'm sure you'll read comments from the roads department superintendant tomorrow about how they were prepared for this and had sanders and plowers out since the early hours... while everyone else tries to drive through 4 feet of snow on major roads...

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

There appears to be almost 12" of snow on the table on my deck now.

I was hoping it would melt off today, but the revised forecast calls for subzero weather until Tuesday.

Damn.

Same here, I live in Priddis, might even be more snow here, and it is coming down hard, no sign of let up yet.

And that they are! I was on Deerfoot at 7am & jeezuz! I am pretty sure that this city had at least 24hrs warning that this crap was a coming... Deerfoot & Barlow not plowed, sanded - nothin'!!! Never even saw a sander WTF?!?! I can totally understand that ALL the roads can not be taken care of, but seriously...

Question- how was the shovelling? I ask because about a month ago my shovel broke, and I was considering going outside with a broom. Is it light and fluffy, or is it wet snow out there?
