It's a good year for basketball in the state of Utah. I'll take Utah.

It's getting tough now!
For my 5th round I'll take Providence!

Awww, damn you! I was all set to pick Siena. Now I'm going to be cheering for Niagara in the Metro Atlantic finals tonight.
Even though they haven't punched their ticket to the tournament yet, I'm going to pick the Saint Mary's Gaels. A competitive loss to Gonzaga tonight should be more than enough to secure an at large spot, but an upset isn't out of the question: they were leading Gonzaga in Spokane five weeks ago when star point guard Patrick Mills broke his hand, and four of the Gaels' five losses came with Mills out of the lineup. Now that he's back, they have serious cinderella potential (assuming they make the cut).

By the way, here's a list of teams that have earned automatic bids so far:
Northern Iowa (Missouri Valley)
Cornell (Ivy)
E. Tennessee State (Atlantic Sun)
Radford (Big South)
Morehead State (Ohio Valley)
Four more teams will earn automatic bids tonight, with finals in the Southern, Colonial, West Coast, and Metro Atlantic.
One rules note: Is everyone in agreement that the play-in game doesn't count as part of the actual tournament and you don't get a point if you pick a team that wins the play-in?

I agree.
But if you pick a team that loses the play-in game, do you get to replace it?

Good question. I'd say yes, just as if you pick a team that fails to qualify for the tournament, you can pick again. All 64 teams should have a manager, and every manager should have eight teams at the start of the actual (post play-in) tournament.

Best draft ever.
We have someone apologizing for making us wait 7 hours to pick. No apology necessary, but appreciated!

Yup, everyone has done a really kick-ass job (no pun intended) of keeping this thing moving. And I love the fact that it's making me follow all of the conference tournaments closely, when usually I don't pay a lot of attention until the brackets are released.
