The first one is most amazing for the stars you can see in the dark part of the sky. At first I thought that was dust on my screen, then I realized what it was after I wiped the actual dust off and there were still points of light.

Here is a really old pic of mine that I just found again in browsing my photo folders. It's taken off the top deck of the home I grew up in, looking towards COP with a sunset and a chinook arch. I haven't lived there in years.

Sunset at 15,300 ft, Barafu Camp, on 19,340 ft. Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania in October . . . . the lights of Moshi would emerge in the darkness 10,000 feet below.
