I believe the simplest explanation is usually the correct one. Since the groom appears to be in the military chances are he's not blind. Thus, the simplest explanation after that is photoshop work.

I love that scam the scammers site.
The one where they make the guy read Hitchhiker's Guide and send it to them is great as well. I used to listen to that on the bus on my way to work.
