Exactly.

Everyone, please be nice to those guys who move your TVs to your cars at Future Shop tomorrow. I'll be one of them. I'm not even a Future Shop employee, but just a student who needs the cash. 6 til 6 tomorrow. Ugh, I need to get to bed.

For anyone looking for a cheaper flatscreen, seriously consider the 42" Samsung Plasma that's $587 at Visions tomorrow. I don't have the model number in front of me, but I paid about $1400 for that TV a year and a half ago, and I've been so impressed with it. It's 720p but the picture has been incredible in my eyes. Also, the great thing about Samsung is they offer a 2 year warranty on all plasmas, as long as you keep your reciept.

Can anyone recommend a good digital camera from best buy or future shop in the $100-$200 price range? I am looking for a new one but totally clueless. Thanks!

Watch out for the "deals" on remote starters- it's like finding a deal on airline tickets. I called a couple of places about their respective $150 "installed" starters, and they are really $375-400 once all is said and done. The only cars that would qualify for $150 are cars that are 12+ years old.

I bought the Canon A590IS 8MP at BB for $120 for a gift. According to the reviews at amazon.com it's supposed to be pretty good but I know nothing.

If its canon, its got to be good. At least thats what I'm going off of. I'm told by my roommate (who is a imaging product engineer for most of the cameras out there) that after 6 or 7 MP, it doesn't really matter and it all depends on the type of sensor and whatnot. Thus why I passed up the 10MP for the 8MP (apparently better sensor) but I guess when it gets to that, it doesn't really matter.

Lordy was Best Buy at Sunridge busy. When I came at 5:30 at least 200+ people already in line. Nearly got frostbite on my fingers and my toes froze, but I got my receiver, and Rock Band 2. I am so jacked on Red Bull I can't sleep and have now been up for 22 hours...

Good luck in your shopping today, it will only get worse.

I just bought a remote starter a couple of weeks ago, but it won;'t be installed until tomorrow. the reason for the extra prices, was they have to install a bypass switch. If your car is fairly new, it won't start unless the physical key is close to the ignition, as there is a chip in it, that connects to the receiver in the ignition. So, I think it was $65 for that. Other extras were, extra keys and connect your automatic door unlocks.

All in all a $268 remote ended up $500.

got mine at Visions and the guy there said, Viper were not very good anymore.

I just spent $130 on clothes, after spending $100 pre-christmas still on clothes. I don't think I've spent $230 on clothes for the past 5 years comebined prior to my big spree. I feel a little sick.

Hit the mall at 8:00am when it was quiet, but I started to get bored and tired after 2 hrs and came home. For some reason, shopping and malls really tires and stresses me out.

Got a replacement X-Box 360 (my other one red-ringed twice and is out of warranty) and a bunch of DVDs. Bring on the laziness!

Went to Best Buy and Future Shop in Deerfoot Meadows. Eventually just parked in Ikea's lot and walked it.

Future Shop wasn't bad, but the sales guy lied to us about the iPod we were buying being 1st generation (and on sale.) Then tried to just ring in the sale hoping we wouldn't notice the non-sale price.

Best Buy was nuts. Lots of sales guys to help you out, but the lineup to buy ran from the front of the store all the way to the back. How about getting some of those guys to ring up stuff?

130th was surprisingly calm. Walmart was good- as was Superstore and Canadian Tire. Superstore's prices are wacky on their Christmas candies- signs everywhere say that the price shown is the sale price of up to 50% off- but some thing still scanned for 1/2 of the sticker price. The "snow topped" Toblerones for example were only 94¢.

The Shawnessy Future Shop was pure chaos, you could barely move in there, I noticed they didn't put in the sale price on a DVD I bought and I made him refund the 2 dollars they overcharged me on my debit card.

We were at Chinook when it opened at 8am. Busy, but not overly bad. Got some great deals on clothes. By the time we left at 10:30am, it was a madhouse.

I went shopping to Costco, Canadian Tire, and Sobey's today. All three were nearly dead. It was luxurious.
