Yup, there was a play (I wish i could find it) of a 3-base error where a ball went through the Mexican 2nd baseman's legs and rolled to the right field wall

A friend of mine's brother started for Canada this afternoon.

Didn't look very good.

Like I said before the tournament, Perkins doesn't belong on this team.

I saw this happening with Perkins.

Oh well, onus on the hitters now.

ugh..

They shouldn't allow a guy named Orr, who hits 9th in the lineup and whiffs three times to wear #4.

No one wants to see a former Cracker-Cat (one of three) in this game more then me, but Stubby hasn't played since the end of the 06 season. I'd be wary of putting him into a big spot.

He played in Beijing and was making high light real plays every game

D'oh. I am shamed.

I'm really enjoying seeing Der Nederlands leading on the out of town scoreboard. If Canada doesn't come back, I'm fully jumping on that bandwagon.

Canada needs to knock this left-hander out... he's at 50 pitches already.

They've got runners on base against him....just need to get a clutch base hit/RBI.

This is getting pathetic. Someone not named Martin, Votto, Morneau, or Bay needs to contribute ANYTHING.

They may not be great players, but they're still better than almost anything the Italians have to offer.

I'd take a productive at-bat at this point.

It seems everytime Canada starts to threaten all we can do is strike-out, pop-up in the infield, or ground into a double-play.

^ I still can't get over that terrible AB by Orr. I mean.....honestly, what are you doing? At least try to battle.

Edit: Oh, haha, looks like we're on the same page.

What a novel concept - a productive at-bat and a single.

It's basically game-over unless Martin, Votto, Morneau, and Bay all string together some power hits in the bottom half.

I'm really getting sick of Chris Denorfia. I'm also getting a little tired of Matt Stairs in right field.
