I don't hate her at all. I think she's dumb, and it's got nothing to do with her religion.
If you don't know that turkeys are being slaughtered directly over your shoulder, and you can hear the machinery doing the slaughtering, you might not be just plain old dumb, you may be developmentally impaired.
Anyway, do we hate Obama because of his trust in god? He brings it up all the time.
|
What machinery? You have two killing cones and a basin to catch the blood. You hold the birds upside down so the blood rushes to their head. This keeps them from fighting or making noise while you carry them to the cone. You stick them in the cone and cut off their head. Their blood drips into the basin. It takes about a minute and a half to bleed out. The shaking you seen was simply the birds nervous system. If the guy had placed the bird on it's feet at that point it would have run around flapping for a couple minutes or until it fell over. He held it in the cone because the wings flapping could have knocked it out of the cone. You don't need a machine to kill a turkey. They probably had one for plucking the feathers but, it isn't in the shot.

The traditional role of the Vice presidential candidate in an election is to attack the opposing Presidential canidate. She did her job well. Call it hate if you want.

I think the only thing it really reflects is that this was a poorly planned and executed event, and that has more to do with Palin's people than Palin herself (though she's at fault for picking stupid people or not giving them enough direction). She's a internationally famous politician who's famous largely for gaffs, so she, more than any other politician in the country, should be aware that if she want's to return to national respectability, everything she does has to be coated with a thick, shiny veneer of professionalism. Someone on her staff should have scouted out the place, picked the location for any interview, picked the angles, and given instruction to the farm staff about what they should and shouldn't be doing (ie. not killing turkeys anywhere, either on camera or off, while the governor is present).

I call it hypocrisy. She's supposed to be good upstanding Christian. Christians don't go around spreading half truths in an attempt to smear another person. Would you do the same CB?

So you're admitting that she sinned when she was blatantly lying?

Ok then if what she said was only half true they must have been half false. Where did she lie?

The original ethics investigation.
I've put it in red saying as you sometimes appear to have comprehension issues.
Findings: (from the report). "I find that Govenor Sarah Palin abused her power by violating Alaska Statute 39.52.110(a) of the Alaska Executive Branch Ethics Act.
Palin: "Well, I’m very very pleased to be cleared of any legal wrongdoing," Palin said, " any hint of any kind of unethical activity there. Very pleased to be cleared of any of that."
Either she's flat out lying or just flat out stupid.

That wouldn't have been much of a feat considering the colour of Obama's skin. I would have though racists would have seen that without Governor Palin pointing it out. By the way where did she use race in any of her speeches or are you the one doing the smearing?

Really?
"Our opponent ... is someone who sees America, it seems, as being so imperfect, imperfect enough, that he's palling around with terrorists who would target their own country,"
That nose of hers got quite long after that speech

Being one of the 'smart kids' I'm sure you're right, but I do wonder how the entire vetting team failed to notice Obama paling around with terrorists. I mean if that is a whole truth, rather than a half truth, that whole paling around that Sarah Palin uncovered must have been out there for many others to see.
BTW, I like how in your earlier post you said you hadn't called them dumb kids but then proceeded to call them fools... Very clever I must admit.
