Awesome stuff! 20 GMs now.
Is that enough or are you dead set on 25 trout?

If we chose to do that my suggestion would be to only allow poetry novels rather than simply poetry anthologies. Perhaps there could be a poetry category added?

Definitely single author collections only--though I think longer single poems, so long as they're sufficiently famous on their own, should also count.

I can't read too well but at the suggestion of another GM I suppose I will give it a whirl. But like I said the only thing I have ever read is the names on the Stanley Cup and the ingredient list on Swiss Chalet Dipping Sauce.

Anything goes, but at least:
Author, title and year of first publication
Picture of cover (if available)
Then, whatever is interesting:
Synopsis of book
Literary critic's review
youtube video may be available in some cases (books that have been made into films or documentaries, book reviews)
Your 8th grade book report
Dewey Decimal number

troutman, can we have a recap on the suggested categories, as they now stand?

Sounds good. I had thought that the first ones would be fiction only, but I think it should be fairly open, otherwise. For example, Canadian Lit can be any fiction book by a Canadian author, including ones that fall into another category such as sci-fi.
Trade fiction is I guess more of a publishing industry term for mass-produced genre fiction, or what you might otherwise think of as cheap paperbacks. I had thought of it as including Mystery and Horror, but also extending to Romance, Crime and other genres. Probably trade fiction wasn't the best category name, but I think it's still worthwhile to have a mystery/crime/horror category.
I like the rest of the changes.

We could combine SF/Fantasy, and add Mystery/Horror etc?

Is there a way to link cover images without downloading them and then hosting them on photobucket? I'm wondering whether we can somehow link the images you'd find on amazon.com or librarything.com--or something like that. Downloading all the images and then uploading them to photobucket seems like kind of a pain.
