I guess it varies frm individual to individual, but milk most certainly CAN be a big part of a healthy balanced diet as well as aiding in several ways in areas such as osteoporsis, brain development among children, and for sure as a recovery supplement after work out.

My Great Grandfather lived til he was 99 drinking milk every single day of his life, often buttermilk. My Grandfather lived 87 years doing the same thing. My grandmother is still alive at 98 years and she too has drank milk as a part of her diet he entire life.

How many mammals drink milk from another species?
Ever been on a farm? Its a common occurence that kittens, as an example, lose their mother before they are even able to open their eyes. Guess what they survive on? Cow milk fed via syringe, or even dog milk if there is a lactating canine around at the same time. And vice-versa. Saw it many times.

Milk is good for you if you are able to digest it.....humans have used it for thousands of years. No matter what the PETA whackos and vegetarian/vegan sects say about it.

The proof is in our history with its consumption.
