OMG - I know, that was the funniest thing ever, those guys are complete morons for sure, they drive me nuts. I was so hoping they were going home last night, but that was a good laugh for sure.
I loved all the other soldiers cracking up while watching them too.

I was so glad we had that DVR last night. I can't tell you how many times we watched his attempt at marching. The best comedy I've seen on TV in a long long while.
What I don't get is how is it possible he can't march yet he can unload 50 sacks of flour going up and down a ramp without killing himself?
Next week for their speedbump it looks like that have to do some russian dancing. Should be entertaining again.
Also curious to see which team loses their money and passports but I'm guessing they simply leave them behind somewhere and have to double back to get them. Typically those types of things in the previews amount to nothing.

I cannot get over the fact that they are so horrible at so many things and yet they've made it to the top 4. Why couldn't they just travel back to the shop and grab their shoes? Is there a rule that you cannot leave the pit-stop?

I wondered that as well. Surely, the producers organize some brief tours and what not for the contestants so they actually get a chance to see some things beyond the race.
The former QB summed up why the two frat guys are still in the race....They are good at do the travel stuff. They just aren't good at doing the actual tasks.

Really??
The only thing that I hope for now is that they do not win it. Well I have been hoping that for awhile now. I have even started to cheer for Ken and Tina, even though Tina is horrible.
I cannot stand Nick's attitude and cockiness.
For pure comedy's sake I really hope that Andrew and Dan win it. They absolutely do not deserve it but it would be great to see them do well on one leg and have that be the last one.
I can't see how Nick and Star don't win, but I really hope something terrible happens to them and they someone finish 2nd or 3rd.

I'm actually a big fan of Nick and Star. I don't mind cockiness as long as you can back it up. If you talk a big game then you should back it up, and they've won a ridiculous amount of legs. I also really appreciate a team that doesn't get all worked up about personal relationships. I enjoy that they aren't outright ######s to everybody but they'll still backstab when they need to.

If Nick and Star win, will Nick get down on his knee and propose?
(we do need that tongue in cheek emoticon)

Well I guess that is where we differ, I think they are outright ######s to other teams and do backstab when totally unnecessary.
I missed a few seasons in the middle after losing interest with the moronic 4 person team season, but it seems that the teams were especially dumb this season.
I constantly am amazed that teams fail to read clues or make basic mistakes all in order to save 1 or 2 minutes.
Don't these dopes watch previous shows and realise that rarely does 5 minutes matter and more often teams lose because they fail to read the clue properly.
I always laugh when people moan about being in the last cab out of the airport. Has a team ever lost because they got in a cab 2 minutes after the other teams? No.
Have they lost because they jumped in a cab right away when they were supposed to walk? Yes.

Honestly I think Nick and Star have run a pretty clean race and they have run a darn good race. This most recent leg was telling. 3 teams got to the first clue box at the same time. The leg was a short one yet I bet they seem ot have built a significant lead over the other teams. Now that lead will be wiped out first thing on the final leg, but they are very efficient racers.

The only reason I would want Nick and Starr to win is to see Starr jump up and down continuously to celebrate the victory.
Those guys just creep me out. What a weird bro and sis relationship.
Felt bad for Toni and Dallas, that was a pretty big screw up. If it happened earlier in the race they may have been able to beat another team and survive. This late in the race it was costly.
I like Ken but can't stand Tina and I rerally hope he leaves her.
Starr is moderatley hot and I hope she does jumping jacks but Nick is a creepy dude.
I guess I am hoping for Andrew and Dan to win. To be honest that would be hilarious to see them pull it off.

I think the early editing was making out the realtionship to be creepy on some level but the last few weeks i think that editing is gone and we've seen them simply as a brother and sister that are good friends and not creepy at all.

I can't think of an instance where they were overtly rude to anybody beyond the divorced chicks (who were bitchy to everybody). I'm not saying Nick and Star haven't done anything rude, I just can't think of anything at the moment.
Anytime they've back-stabbed somebody I believe it was purely to gain an advantage. I think anytime they've screwed somebody over it was generally for the good of the team.
The one thing that comes to mind was the stone that Nick smuggled out of that temple past the cheated-on wife. They are in an alliance, but in his position I'd do the exact same thing. Nobody in the alliance would know what you did. Perhaps I'm just morally bankrupt.
I think it's easy to overlook the amount of pressure the teams are under when they read the clues. There are wayyy too many mistakes for it to be anything else in my mind. The thing that gets me is that when something starts going wrong for a team in a challenge nobody says "perhaps we should re-read the clue". 9 times out of 10 the problem is fixed as soon as they do.

^^ Agreed. The constant travel/jet lag, physical and mental exertion, and inconsistent sleep patterns would make most of us miss things in the clues or just read them too quickly. That show is a lot harder than it looks from the couch and a lot different than what you see editted I'm sure.

I agree with all that which is why I think teams should slow down a lot more and take their time.
I also think the excitement of the race gets to them as well. Coming off the plane seeing everyone sprinting off the plane, I think it would be tough to stop read signs, read clues and make the best decision.
I have to rewatch some of the episodes to see the exact times that Nick was a jerk but I do know that at least once, if not more, an episode I comment on what a jerk he is.
I have no problem with the tablet thing, I don;t think that is backstabbing, I think it is smart and more teams should do it.
One instance was the wall in India where he told Dan/Andrew they should work together, then totally ditched him when he got it.
