like i said above, it looks like the games are actually in transit. since people were able to drive from the toronto area, i am assuming that is where the games were shipped from.

check the ea forums, people from all over keep asking about the game, but no one has it.

I just got back from EB and pre-purchased my copy. Buddy tells me if one gets it, they will all get it, but no one is holding on to it waiting for tmrw.

He says once they have it, it will be available.

But they are cursing EA right now, while I was standing in line, 3rd in line 5 calls came through asking about NHL 09... I'm glad I have a guarenteed copy.

Well, although I'll likely regret it when I come back and see at around 8pm that someone found a copy, I've decided drinking brews with friends is a better way to spend my evening.

I hate all of you who got this today. EA has gotten me again. Even advertised here as being available by 2 pm today at Best Buy. Come 3 pm, "Oh, they said we might get it tomorrow, or the next day, we're not quite sure. Just come back". Target, Gamestop, Circuit City, same story. The same thing happened here last year with 08. Stupid Madden comes out on time. I will, of course, be calling every two hours for the foreseeable future until they tell me they have it.

edit: Fine, I don't really hate you. I'm just bitter and jealous.

I'm going to check EB in westbrook again this morning at around 11 since thats where my pre-order is but I checked superstore last night and they were advertising the 9th. The guy working there said it should be in today. Anyone check out the 24hr walmart this morning?

Dell is really good. Anytime I order something, I ALWAYS get it the next morning in Edmonton. Games, Keyboards, etc.

I was at the North Hill EB Games last night, and the guy told me they'd have it today. I was also at Market Mall EB, and they told me Thursday.

The thought of playing this game, especially with vintage jerseys, makes me want to freak out and throw stuff all over my office.

North Hill EB guy says he expects to get copies today by 1. I'm not believing him 100%, but my hopes are pretty high.

In related news, this years kid is female! Sabrina Zhada is in the free agent pool and apparently rated a 98. She's a goalie, so don't forget to banish her to the european leagues before you start your dynasties!
