Having not experienced much else in the way of exotic areas of the world, I love Grand Cayman.

We were just behind Turtle Bay actually. It's called Hurricane Bay I believe. There are a few cabins on Turtle Bay for sale though right now that my family is looking into purchasing. Such a beautiful part of the lake.

You beat me to it, Lake McKenzie is without a doubt one of the most wonderful places I've ever been. Perfect white sand + perfect, clean, clear fresh water + perfect sun = my favourite place in the world.
Fraser Island as a whole is just amazing.

Pengrowth Saddledome on a Friday night.
Seriously...when you move away from this great city you will realize how cool the C of Red is.
Others are:
Upper/Lower Lakes in Kananaskis
Summit of Mount Kilimanjaro - The view of the glacier on the way down is unreal
Berlin, Germany
Prague, Czech Republic - Anyone ever been to the Golden Tiger?
Lake Superior National Park - I drove from Calgary to Toronto this summer and stopped here and actually saw the sunset from the lake. The whole drive from Thunder Bay to Sault Ste Marie is really nice.
Amsterdam, Netherlands - Heineken city!
New York City - No explanation needed.

^^^ I was sure I was going to see something like "My favorite place in the world is PunchInTheFaceistan, a small but aggressive country in the mountains of Central Asia, known for its pugilistic traditions and fine wineries."

I've lived all over the world and seen a lot of beautiful places. Beauty is nice but frankly I've had just as much fun in places that were far from beautiful. Where I want to be is virtually anywhere with my wife and family. They make any place the best place to be. A few mountains, rivers, sunsets etc. are pretty boring without them.

I did that drive on Canada Day. I decided to save myself the cost of a hotel by camping out beside Lake Superior. It was really nice, especially at night when the fireflies came out. (they were either fireflies, or maybe the aftereffects of staring at a road all day)
I drove all the way out east to Tofino last year. The drive from Port Alberni to Tofino was the scariest drive ever, I had only had my license for a few months... the roads were tight around the mountains, there were waterfalls falling on the middle of the road, my wipers were going as fast as they could and I could barely see, and semis were flying at me. But when we got there, it was so beautiful. The rain let up and we walked around the rain forest and along the beach. The forest west of Port Alberni was awesome too, it was the first time I ever saw trees that massive.
My favourite vacation memory was a 2 minute period near some Wupatki ruins in the Arizona desert. The sky went completely pink and painted the whole desert... it was a breath taking moment. Naturally, my laptop blew up and I lost all my pics and vids from Arizona and Bryce Canyon in Utah. I cry every time I think about it.

There are two places that really stick in my mind, albeit for different reasons.
The first is Easter Island. I have never felt so detached from the rest of the world as I did there (in a good way). It was so...quiet. It was calm, peaceful and just plain fascinating.
The second is Djeema El'Fma in Marrakech, Morocco. This is a huge open air square which houses about 100 restaurants, a range of shops, merchants with figs, spices and the like, snake charmers, dudes playing some sort of weird games with coke bottles and a fishing rod, story tellers, musicians, and thousands of onlookers. The smells and sounds will be forever engrained in my mind of this place.

Machu Picchu is one of the coolest places on earth. Everyone has to go there before they die. Same with Angkor Wat....just mind blowing.

It really is. You should see it during high flow season. The other photo looks to have been taken from the bridge in the middle, unfortunately I couldnt go on the bridge cause the front half of it was under water. The guys in yellow were taking off the hand railings so they didnt get washed away when the water rose over the whole bridge.

That is an amazing pic...I would ahve loved to see it like that, but happy I got to go to all the walkways.
I would consider Machu Picchu better than Angkor wat. I have been to both in the past year....

A couple more places I thought of....
Hang-gliding over Rio de Janerio:
Some water falls outside of Luang Prabang, Laos:
...and finally, with the monk's in Luang Prabang, collecting their daily alms at 5am:
