Screw what they are saying Albert. I would have paid $300 to see Usher. Not everyone in the world is a rock fan people!!
Well, I am not embarrassed about people knowing I went to see Usher in TO. I just pointed out that the biggest reason I went was that I got return tickets for $34. I've always wanted to go to TO (especially for the HHOF and Wayne Gretzky's), and that was just the perfect chance. I am not a rock fan, I like R&B and hip hop [/b][/quote]
Hey Albert I'd better back you up in this topic, as I was right there with you for the Usher concert!!! We'll just keep it on the down-low how much my plane ticket was.

I was a COP employee at the time, and 'worked' that concert.

It was a nightmare

My first ever concert was Bon Jovi in early 1989. Went because my girlfriend at the time begged me. The opening act was Skid Row. I wasn't a big Bon Jovi fan, but they did put on a good show. Skid Row was actually really, really good.

That's about as embarassing as it gets for me.

I went to a Cinderella/Bon Jovi show in '87 at the 'dome, but I fully admit I was there for the chicks.

Got to admit it is hard to beat Tiffany, but I did see the Back Door Boys twice. The first time I paid $510 for 3 ticks up front. Took my daughter and my niece. The embarassing part is I kind of enjoyed it.

I like Usher...

Sadly I went to N'Sync or Backstreet boys, I forget which one it was.

OLP and U2 were sweet. If only the Beastie Boys would come to Calgary... yes I like a wide variety of music.

How about embarassing concerts you are going to go to?

I'm going to see Motley Crüe in April. In Edmontön. Not enough time to grow the hair out but plenty of time to find some tight jeans.

Don't be embarrassed about seeing that band, just being embarrassed that you are going to Edmonton....

Considering that they are also comming here now. Maybe you'll luck out and Ratt will open for them, that would be sweet.

Charlie Pride.

My parents got the worst seats at the Corral and the guy seemed a mile away. Then again, I was about 12 years old. But I liked the music.

"Crystal Chandeliers" rule man!!
