Fata, I hate 'random' as used as an adjective to replace 'accidental' or 'odd'. It seems to be one of the top 3 adjectives of choice for the bar-star, young 20s crowd, along with the word 'like'.
"ohmyhawd, that was like, so random!"
As a teacher, I hate the use of the word 'gay' to describe something you think is stupid.
"This assignment is gay."
"No, son, since that worksheet is an inanimate object, it has no sexual preference, therefore, it can not be gay. You may wish to pay more attention in Health."

What I can derive from that is that you and your "crew" are a group of caucasian males, aged 14-20, from the suburbs.

Alternatively, one word I can't get enough of is PWNED....I was around when it first broke out in popularity, and I still love it! It reminds me of hyer-active gamers with ADD who express their joy through verbalizing keyboard mistakes.

I will admit I use the term “nice” to much I’m trying to break the habit
One that I love that my friends and I have been using for about a year now is
‘Suck it!’
It just work on so many levels
“Hey man how was your day today?”
“Suck it”
“Can you grab me a beer?”
“Can you grab me some suck it?”

It cannot show emotion either.

I'm certainly not one of the irony police, (in fact, I think they're a bunch of blowhards who fail to understand that words can take on meanings outside of high literature and that English is an evolving language), but I'm surprised nobody's mentioned "ironic" yet.
For me, it's "gay" as a derrogatory term. You're insulting a group of people for no good reason and all it does is make you look ignorant and intolerant. Sadly, I used to misuse that word myself, but now it bugs the heck out of me.

No votes for sweet?
I hate it when people (radio guys) use names all funny-like...
"The Calgary Flames have their Iginlas and their Phaneufs, but they need their Warreners and their Yelles".
Why this annoys me is a mystery, but it makes me want to punch.
Top 5 overused words that annoy me:
Totally
Like
Sweet
Dope
Sick
Overused words that I'm guilty of using:
Deadly
Sweet
Niiiice

NO! IT WASN'T RANDOM! It's as common as birds and bees! It happens all the time!
Not everything in this world is random - a meteorite striking a city, that's random - everyday quirks, follies, and foibles? NOT RANDOM.

I was in CO-OP and purchasing some cheese. I decided to go with the "Random cheese". (I think they meant "miscellaneous".)

The worst one for me is "Jonesing". As in "man, I'm jonesing for a beer". Drives me nuts.
Another one that bugs me is "waaaaay". I keep hearing it all the time in Wendy's commercials.
"Wendy's, it's waaaaay delicious".
grrrr

Agree with Phaneuf. Epic grinds my gears for some reason. In Victoria my RA used epic to describe absolutely everything and it annoyed me to the point of insanity. Helluva nice guy but damn....My new leather jacket is not epic, Lord of the Rings is epic
