Heading over to the PGT after just finishing the game and out of the corner of my eye I see third rounder, Lance Bouma and Vancouver.

WTF!!!!! We traded Bouma to Vancouver!?!?!?

Head explodes.....

That was quite the 1.5 seconds it took to back out of the PGT to see WTH was going on.....

Carry on

PS - Yessssssss. Great Win

#22, same happened to me. Saw it at the top of my tapatalk feed.. Under FOI, not the CPHL forum or whatever it's called.. Tunnel vision/instant anxiety.

If we ever trade a player like Bouma to the Canucks it better be for 2 firsts.

wow, did they ever hit the nail on the head with this assessment, eh?

You can see why Sutter would have picked him. Pretty clear he was going to play some games.

I remember in his last season in Vancouver he had a monster playoff run. He led by example and was point-per-game. I thought 'wow, there could be more to this guy...'

Since he's turned pro I've loved his game. Even as a 4th liner he was never a liability and he's always worked his ass off. He's one of a dying breed of hockey player who is willing to sacrifice his body on every play. Guys like Lance Bouma don't make the All-Star team, but they win you games.

So happy for Bouma. I was afraid his injury down in Abby would have ruined him. He just came back better and seemed more motivated. Hes a very important player for us. Icing on the cake is he has 9 goals. Just like Raymond and Jones. I can see him earning an A on this team in the future. Keep it up Lance! I'd love to see Ferland and Bouma in our bottom 6 one day

Lance Boumas' NHL comparable is Doug Risebrough. Both pure blood n guts hockey players.

I would think that when Lance Bouma retires he will have a letter on his jersey, a fistfull of rings and no front teeth. Just like Doug Risebrough.

So much more than just a fourth line player. Who says Sutter can't draft?

Out of 7 guys drafted that year 4 never played a game and our first rounder played 15 games. Bouma has been great though.

And of course there is that Brodie guy.
