Hope all goes well with the new group but I cannot see a group of 6 with big egoes agreeing on things.

What would you change for the year?
Okay, this is my last post. This is going no where. The Stamps need a new start, In my view local ownership is a great thing for this club. The new ownership will do a great job (in my view).

I too have heard the rumour about the new Jerseys, didn't hear the details though. And the 'riders ones are to look like the Jets.

I've read through all of Stampsfan's posts and still have no idea what he's trying to say. Barker's a hell of an OC and Personnel guy, hasn't done much as a HC, but under the Stamps he inherited a team on the down swing, in rebuilding mode. Wally's losing record was mainly a result of lots of players going to the NFL, and the effects were lingering for Barker.

I'm thinking that next season will show some improvement since there will be a lot of time to get things together, by experienced football guys, and they're smart enough to keep a bunch of the talent we have right now.

Yes the team was on the down slide during Wallys last two years. That was brought on by lack of money, guys wanting to play else where, and guys leaving to the NFL. It takes more than one year to rebuild. I just dont see what everyone see's in Barker. As a OC he is good. What has he done as a personel guy????

I think the team is on the upside now. God talent. Need improvement on the OLine, DBs,a rush end, and a couple of WRs

Totally agree. I think that's the reason people are welcoming back Jim Barker - he wasn't given the more than one year required to build the team. That's also why I want Dunigan to stick around in some sort of capasity, for continuity's sake. I also think Barker's the best guy to be Personnel right now.

I too am liking the direction the team is going, and hopefully the new guys will build on the talent we have. Our RBs will be solid, QB good enough for now (KJ will lead Souza into the next Garcia). Our OLine needs to get younger (trade that #1 pick for a good Canadian Kid). I'm liking the receivers. They're young and need a bit of time to improve...maybe a couple of solid veterans would help. DBs need some damn improvement...Davis Sanchez is a FA I believe . The next few months will be interesting for sure.

Yes they will. Sanchez cost this team 222g a year ago. Not a good investment.
RB will be great.

Heard that MD had a deal worked out with Hamilton for the #1 pick. They love Jesse Lumsden.

Forgot............ Boy do we need a canadaian kicker/punter

Tillman will be gone to Hamilton. OB gone to Ottawa.

Personally I have always liked Mike McCarthy. Too bad he is in San Diego
