just because i'm nit picky with jerseys/logos, I think the outline of the red circle part needs to be yellow or white (yellow is better)

I don't think googling it will help, as it's a Calgarypuck inside joke thing. I personally don't know how it started, but I just know I used the term 'hookers and blow' as a joke on aonther hockey forum and was banned, lol.

So far these are my favourites. In fact, I'd even be willing to purchase one of these - with some portion of the proceeds going to help pay the bills, of course.
Edit: I would like to see the shoulder patches be a little more subtle, but I'm sure they will be once they are actually on a shoulder, and not just pasted onto a 2D picture.

The quod city logo looks a little goofy imo, but I think it's mostly because
a) The letters Q and C are too similar looking and
b)They made both letters flaming.
I think a C and P would compliment eachother nicely, and plus only the C would have Flames, which would also look better imo.

The only other thing is that if the Calgarypuck higher ups are graciously allowing us to use the name and possibly a variation of their logo, we should probably throw a .com somewhere on there in return.
We'll be playing teams full of hockey fans that may have never heard of the site, and I'm sure a good number of them would check out calgarypuck.com after playing our team.

Okay fine, those will be the main jerseys, then we'll put this new logo on the '89 red jersey and that will be our throwback jersey that we wear on special occasions. Then we'll make the cp shoulder patch the main logo on the old black jersey the Flames used to wear, and that will be our third jersey.

Well after we create this jersey to use for euopean tournaments, we should be at about $600-$700 a player, which will unfortunitly prevent us from being able to afford to play. But at least we'll look good.

I'll see if we can sponsor - that may mean I have to play on the team (whether that is good or bad is for you to decide). Maybe we should form a CP old-timer team as well?
|
Have you decided if you want to play yet?

That's why it'll be covered with sponsor stickers (helmets, gloves, socks too), to defer the cost .

hah, this is going to rock. I have to say, I thought the Ottawa 67s logo was an original CP work, and was amazed.. but it still looks awesome for the CP team, I think, even if not an original.
Now, for the first time in my life, I get to pick a number for a goalie jersey that isn't #1.
Sweet.

I think it just started as a common reply to, lets say: "What is there to do in... Tahiti" thread.
