What an obvious victim of society! What does it say about a country where an educated teacher can't find work as a teacher, and her only other option is porn? The poor girl has got to eat, and obviously there were absolutely no other jobs out there at all, so she took the only other thing available to her. It's the same with me. If I lose the job I have now, and can't get a job in my chosen field, I will have absolutely no other choice but to go into porn. There is simply nothing else out there I could apply for.

So, one day Jesus is out for his daily walk when he comes around the corner and see's a young woman buried up to her neck in sand, she's surrounded by an angry mob who are in the process of selecting rocks for the Saturday Afternoon stoning. Jesus walks up to one of the mob members and asks him whats going on. The mob member calmly replies that the woman has committed adultry, and for that sin she had been sentenced to death by stoning.
Sensing an object lesson here, Jesus steps in front of the young woman and shields her from the mob, he raises his arms and commands in a deep voice.
"Let ye who is without sin cast the first stone"
Well the crowd looks really uncomfortable and starts to mumble to themselves their resolve breaking as understanding dawns on them, when suddenly a 80 . . . no 90 . . . no 100 year old woman trucks to the head of the crowd picks up a rock and throws it as hard as she can hitting Jesus and cutting him open. Jesus looks sourly at the old woman and says.

you can't possibly believe that the only option open to her was to go into porn? That isn't even the problem. Who cares that she went into porn. The problem is that now she's going on news shows and saying she's a victim of society, the school board, and whoever the hell else she wants to blame. She's only a victim of her own bad choices. (and some would say she isn't even a victim, she probably makes more money doing this than most of us here make putting in solid work days)
Clearly a case of someone wanting her 15 minutes of fame. Wouldn't surprise me if the guy running the porn studio is telling her to do this to get as much publicity as she can.
that is what my post is getting at, not that I'm without sin and casting stones, or whatever it is you're trying to imply.

I'm interested, everyone seems so assured that the female 'talent' in pornography make an obscenely wealthy living. Now, perhaps in respect to the services that they perform they make a good living, but what do people here think pornstars actually make? I mean, this is a job most red blooded heterosexual males would do for free....how much do they actually pay these people?

Base pay for legitimate porn productions make between $700 and $1300 for a scene. Wages go up on a sliding scale for degree of difficulty (anal, midgets, meth free). Smaller production companies obviously pay less. She might get a little bit more because of the celebrity *cough* factor, but I find it hard to believe she is now on easy street.
