That's what happened on our street...it became a permit only parking area. Not because of my vehicle, but because of the condo's across the street. MAJOR pain for anybody renting that didn't want to spend money to change their registration and driver's license to reflect a different address. Basically they won't issue you a permit unless you make the change.
