Memorabilia and autograph prices always go up after someone dies, with the odd exception (ie. most Chris Benoit stuff doesn't even sell anymore because of the circumstances surrounding his death).
It'll probably go past 4K before the bidding is over.

That's the morbid thing about this is that movie producers actually will make more money because this happened.

CNN is saying but not confirming that it happened at Mary-Kate Olsen's apartment and that it is being treated as a suicide.

I was in shock when I opened my IE. It's the first thing that comes to the page when it opens and I couldn't believe it. Such a horrible event as he was so talented and so young. RIP Heath.

Do you know anything about the mentality of a suicidal person, because I really don't think you have a clue. There are people who have psychological issues which sometimes are not dealt with in time or dealt with properly or often times really can't be properly dealt with. I might be a bit touchy on the subject as a family friend apparently committed suicide last week and the last thing that she was, was selfish. Sometimes the burdens of life become unbearable and the only way out that someone can find is suicide.
Oh and my friend was not an idiot as her engineering and mathematic degrees with attest to.

Apparently he was filming a movie directed by Terry Gilliam. That might explain it. His movies are cursed.

Idiocy is not proved via papers or marks. Some smart people do idiotic things.
While I am sorry for you, your family, and your friends, I am only slightly sympathetic to your friend. Yes it is a mental condition, but trust me when I say I feel more for the friends, family, siblings, mothers, fathers, daughters, sons than I do for the individual who performed one of the most selfish acts. You are an idiot to cause that much pain to the people around you (and it is sad that some people can't help but be idiots).
I have had enough suicide around me to stand firmly in my belief.

Personally, I just look at people with the attitude Flames89 has and think they should consider themselves lucky they don't understand the psychological state a suicidal person is in.
And my condolences to you on your friends death.

Just because you don't see the humor in it doesn't mean nobody else does. It's wrong in your opinion. Not fact. For the record I don't want anyone to die, not even JTT or Jonathon Lipnicki.

i have a very open sense of humor, but wishing death on someone is crossing the line. I think most people would agree.

Yep. Like I said, It's going to sell for a lot more than that, too.
One reason why his memorabilia will sell for so much is because there won't be any more of his autographs to go around, and most of the people who have autographed pictures of him won't want to sell them (they'll keep them as keepsakes).
