Both go on, and its a triple threat match in the next round.
for next time (since its too late now) we could have a losers bracket (and I'd be willing to help set that up so HD didn't have a stupid amount of work on his hands)
and then if there is a tie, the faster stays in the winners bracket, and the slower goes to the losers

All great ideas, this thing is evolving. I really like the idea of a losers bracket. Photoshopping the brackets is not the hard part, responding to PM's is, you can only PM once a minute, so sending out 16-32 scores takes time.

I agree this Tourney has had it's issues but future ones will only be better. Learning from mistakes. I've had a blast making this game, thanks for everyones interest/involvement.

And for the people who have sent me PM's trying to give me hints, I really was joking, I dont want it that way, so I aint looking. You all can believe me or not, I know what is true. And hell, maybe Lanny gets the other 2 and eliminates me.

But what are the odds of turning on 596, seeing the "I love Sandra" part. Hahahahah, then I go on IMDB and there's also another pic of HD's thats on the movie page. hahahaha.

OK, this round has exposed a few holes in my Tourney format.

• Round started at 9:00.
• Flip sent a PM at 9:32 and had 8 correct.
• Got Miikka? sent in a perfect score at 9:46
• Flip sent in the other 2 correct answers at 9:54

Flip got a perfect score and was eliminated by 8 minutes. Using time is obviously not the best option.

The second hole was partly exposed due to my own fault. In a PM I told VANFLAMESFAN that he was now tied with Lanny. This was against my own rule of knowing other people's scores. VFF would have no doubt continued to guess anyway but I shouldn't have done that and I apologize.

Then later VANFLAMESFAN jokingly asked "Lanny haters" to give him hints. Coincidently enough 596 was on television and VFF got it. I don't have any reason not to believe him and he eliminated Lanny by 1. However this exposes the hole that people can assist other players.

I expect people to ask family & friends for help but never thought of players helping other players. There is no way I can stop that and if it happens please don't say anything!!! I made this game to test people's movie knowledge (or Googling skills), it wasn't designed to be a popularity contest. Don't get me wrong, I'm not "calling out" or "blaming" VFF! I just hope people have fun and "ganging up" is not what I had in mind.

***New Tourney Rules***

In light of these errors I've decided to make this past round Double Elimination. The 8 eliminated players will drop down into a Losers Bracket and fight for a place in the final against the winner of the Winners bracket.

The next rounds will feature additional "Playoff Movies" posted to determine any ties.

I'm sorry to cause the confusion, and I know I look really guilty, but I ain't lying. If you want to let Lanny move on, thats all good, I do realize how bad it looks on my part. But you're double bracket is probably a good solution.

I do love this game, but I wouldn't cheat.

I ain't gonna lie, I use co-workers sometimes and before I realized Taxi Driver, I googled the name of the Hotel in the one pic to see if I could find something, but couldn't. It then came to me, and I was mad that I didn't have it beforehand.

Once again, I apologize for starting an unneccesary controversy.
