But it was brutal trying to come up with just 3 songs.

There were a ton of songs that, on any given day, would be on my list. I just tried to think of what songs/artists fall into that catagory more often, and chose them. Picking one STP song, or one Foo Fighters song (and I went with those because I have loved and played their albums to death over the last 10+ years) was tough, and for bands like the Beatles who have such a hugely popular body of work it is tough picking just one.

I keep seeing Stairway To Heaven, and I have to say there is only one version I like.
And before you all jump on me for liking this because its the Foo, let me defend myself.
I can't stand Stairway because everybody learns the opening riff. Then when camping, or wherever if I have my guitar out someone "swears dude" that they can play guitar. Sure enough the pluck out that opening riff with great pride, at which point they are banned from my guitar. Seriously, one of my best friends played it two years ago, and he still hasn't got to touch one of my guitars.
The other reason I can't stand it, is its so over done. I get so tired of going to open mics and having to hear people play this, because they can never remember the lyrics or are able to play the solo.
So when I saw this, you know it made me smile.

Would have been good, if they didn't butcher the lyrics.

I'll take your word for it.

But for the people that don't know that, it comes off as an ill-prepared cover.

haha I can see that. But if you watch closley, you can see him trying to keep a straight face to start it out, and the rest of the time bascially.
Also, just a little tid bit, his favorite band growing up (after his B52's faze) was Led Zep. So he would know the song

Best violin piece that I enjoy is from Vanessa-Mae. Youtube doesn't do it justice, but you will get the idea. Worth watching even if you don't think you will like it.

Pablo Honey, The Bends & OK Computer where by far their better albums. Kid A had some good tracks but was for the most part just uninteresting on their part. Amnesiac and Hail to the Thief should be missed except for There There from Thief. In Rainbows is a great return of what makes Radiohead great IMO.
Even with some disappointing albums, Radiohead is still a great unique band who loves to experiment. They're so much fun to see live and if you can find them, the rare covers and recordings show just how much of an interesting vocalist Thom York really is.
