Then we allowed loans, double hotels and all kinds of stuff. Threw all the fines/taxes etc. into the middle. For sure we still do the Free Parking one. We play it as a family so the cut throat approach just isn't in the cards.

Yeah, I've had a few people not want to play with me. But I wouldn't call my style of play cutthroat.

I just find it a shame that a game with so much strategy is turned into primarily a game of luck with a few mods that most people want to make.

Calgary-opoly just makes me sick looking at it.

It's so commercialized that it should be obvious to everyone that the creators auctioned the naming of the properties to the businesses.

If it was truly a reflection of Calgary, they should've included Calgarian landmarks like the Calgary tower and the Saddledome as properties.

Anyways, Munchkins is a fun game to play too
