Default Yankees radio announcer Suzyn Waldman cries on-air following loss

I understand that Fans get upset when "their" team loses, and sometime cry. But a broadcaster live on-air? I think that's unprecedented. Well that's exactly what Yankees radio announcer Suzyn Waldman did during the postgame show on WFAN last night. Here's the audio.

Here's a pretty good artical on Indians pitcher Paul Byrd.

http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/7316734?MSNHPHMA

I found this part from his own son absolutely hillarious.

Two years ago, Byrd was pitching for the Angels when his younger son, Colby, 7, made an observation that left him reeling.
Colby, as unimpressed with his father as only a son can be, told Byrd that if he was any good, he would be pitching for the Yankees.
Rodney, pick up the routine...
"He would play this baseball video game and say, 'You know, dad, your stuff's not very good,''' Byrd recalled Tuesday in an interview with FOXSports.com.
"He asked, 'Why are the Yankees always so good? Every video game we get, they've got the best team.' I explained to him that they spend a lot of money on players. If a player is really good, they try to trade for him. Usually, they have kind of an All-Star team.
"He kind of tucked that away in his memory," Byrd continued. "About two months later, I was signing autographs. He said, dead serious, 'Why would anyone want your autograph?' He said, 'You're not any good, you're just average.'
"I said, 'I've been pitching in the big leagues about 10 years. I've done this and that.' He said, 'Dad, if you were any good, the Yankees would have traded for you.' "You talk about an all-time low. I kept waiting for the punch line. But there was no punch line. Nothing."

Go Indians.....Die Red Sox die!!! You're just the Yankees with really poor hygiene as far as I'm concerned.

Why does BOS have home field adv vs. CLE? They had identical records.

Record against each other, I assume.

Either that or east coast bias is now a recognized rule in the MLB.

If the Sox win the LCS I can't see them putting Gagne on the WS roster. He's hurting right now and simply not good enough.

Rangers made out like bandits on that deal.

So is that run scored on a wild pitch by another pitcher earned?

Oh, and Red Sox = rain delay. Even for an eleven inning game 5 hours is too much. Them and the Yankees always take for freaking ever.

Wow. The bottom of the Red Sox bullpen is thin pickings.

the run should be earned because the batter earned his way on base, that's how i understand it.

basically, thie game is gagne's fault, you can't go out there, suck ass, and expect people to come out and fix your mess.

Box score says: earned.

I think (its been a while since I've really needed to KNOW baseball rules in detail) that if a runner advances due to an error his run can be unearned. I didn't have a clue what a wild pitch would do to the equation.
