Anyone else really let down by the Simpsons seasons premiere. I don't think I laughed once. Family guy was brilliant with the best part being the argument about the thermal port.

I laughed at the opening - all the giant pieces of dome all around with the spiderpig in the house. But other than that I thought it was really really weak.

Anyone watch Race to Mars last night on Discovery? Didn't realize it was a Canadian made program. Thought it was pretty good.

Has anyone else been really let down by the past 9 seasons of the Simpsons?

Heroes will be an interesting watch tonight, especially knowing that the producers will have to come out strong after a lackluster season finale. I'm watching all of Season 1 in preparation before hand!

I'm pretty sure that most of Discovery Channel's science based movies are Canadian made. How else would the guy from Power Play (Michael Riley) get work?

I am also looking forward to Heroes tonight, and I'm going to give Journeyman a shot, as I'm a geek for time travel-based shows.

Don't know if anyone caught "The Way" on PBS last night, but it's a 14 hour mini-series going through the American involvement in WW2. Very engrossing and so much detail.

Well, after 23 episodes of watching of hyping Sylar, I was personally disappointed with how the season finale ended. Just seems like he could have done more. Alot more.

I had the PVR set to record it, but decided against it. I guess maybe I should have kept it going. I am sure it will be re-aired. How often are they showing new episodes?

I am a little late to the party on Kitchen Nightmares, but I PVR'd it, and I just watched it yesterday. The "Americanization" of the show was a little much for me at times. Far too much drama and not enough of Ramsay. I knew this was going to happen, but it's still disappointing. The parts of the old show I liked were the Kitchen side of things. The front house stuff is often too full of whining and complaining. I hope future episodes focus more on the food and the kitchen staff working with Ramsay. But since it's Fox and they feel the need to appeal to the lowest common denominator, they focus on all "shock" moments, like fighting/yelling/drama. And like everyone else I miss the part where he comes back to the restaurant a couple weeks later to see how everything is working out. I find that part interesting. Hopefully this episode was to get people hooked and the future ones will be more like the British show. But sadly I have a feeling the other episodes will be just like this one.

Words cannot describe how inferior Kitchen Nightmares is to the British counterpart.
Unbelievably bad, staged, hokey, and disingenuous. It was practically insulting that they expected me to buy that crap. The 'bill collector' the instant turn around of the Earth's worst restaurant manager?
It missed all of the aspects that made the British Kitchen Nightmares so interesting.
That was just a horribly weak first episode. Blech.

Same here. I have watched all the previous episodes in the last few weeks. I even wore out my dvd player and bought another one so I could finish. Watched the season 3 finale and it still brought a tear to my eye. Looking forward to see the direction they take it.

It had Gordon. He alone made the episode worth watching. Having him rip into idiots is always entertaining.

Just watched Chuck. Sweet Jeebus, who is this blonde girl? The scene with her dressing for the date?
It's a little too cutsey OC for me, and I'm not sure how much longevity there is in the human computer angle, but the "Nerd gets the girl and saves the World" angle should give it a decent chance
I will say I havenlt left NBC all night

Prison Break was great as expected.
I enjoyed Heroes.
The Big Bang Theory did not need to be watched. I saw the entire episode on the commercials they played to death the past couple of months. Fairly funny, but a bit of a letdown.
