I didnt understand that either. What about when it was 4th and goal from the 1 foot line and they threw to Heap (bogus offensive pass-interference call)? Run the QB sneak!
I, however, was a fan of the ending. In my fantasy league, I was up by less than a point and my opponent has McGahee. It couldnt have turned out any better.

As long as he stays healthy.... I would agree, but that is a long ways from happening.
Also, why no mention of Favre on this list of all time greats? Just yesterday he tied Elway for most wins ever by a starting QB...he will have the TD record and his consecutive games record will never be touched IMO.

I was losing by one and had Stover as my kicker. That extra point would have given me the tie.
Billick is an idiot for his playcalling in the 4th.

Indeed - at the end of the season, Farve will hold almost all of the major passing records and he's got a Superbowl in 1997.
An embarrassing omission - thanks for the correction.

Why would Oakland choose Brohm when they have Russell?

Houston will be just fine with their new #8

God I hope your right. The Chiefs need a franchise QB in the worst way. I'm getting sick of plugging in some aged veteran just to try to "win now".
As for the Texans? The Chiefs stunk and shot themselves in the foot. Also a controversial call put the game away for them. With the exception of a blown assignment by the DB on the TD pass. And the 10:25 long drive in the fourth quarter. The Texans didn't look to hot either.

Chiefs problem is that just like last year someone forgot to tell Herm Edwards that week one of the season isn't week 6 of the pre-season. It's like the guy purposefully tries to get off to slow starts so he can be a media star for a couple weeks. Although this years 0-1 start could easily become 0-4 and get worse.

Yeah, he is known for having slow starts. I kind of want to take a wait and see approach. Last year after the Bengals game it looked the sky had fallen. Then the Chiefs nearly pull off an upset in Denver the following week and ended up in the playoffs by seasons end. (Thanks to a few miracles on the final day of the season).

HOLY CRAP!!!!
The Browns put up 51 on the Bangals...oops Bengals. (of course I had J Lewis on the pine).
And my Niners are 2-0.
2 very ugly wins, but wins all count the same.

The Bengals defense just blows.
Pitt has played two pretty crappy teams but looked very impressive.
Colts/Titans was a heck of a game.
What happened to the Saints?

The Bengals just scored and are down by 6 with 3+ minutes to go. If the D can get a stop then it'll be entertaining.
I'm at work but not getting anything done because I'm following the ticker!

1:03 left and Palmer has to drive the field (with no timeouts) to win......

That Indy game was too close for my liking at the end! Thankfully the defense shut down Young and the Titans on that last drive! A close win but the Titans always play us tough. A win is a win and 2-0 to start the season is a good start. Another good game from Peyton and Harrison stepped it up with some big catches. Got to get another win next week @ Houston!

Man that Titans Colts game was fantastic. I'm so proud of my boys, they played a heck of a game but came up just that short against the champs.

The Saints better get things figured out fast or they are in for a loooooong season. Great game for Garcia in leading the Bucs to a big W this week.

I wonder if Browns fans will let up on their calls for Quinn?
(although the Bengals D was expected to be really bad)
