I think our next car might be a new VW Jetta though. Test drove one last summer and was blown away.

Currently, a 2006 VW Jetta TDI (Diesel) -- it's a great car, and gets outstanding mileage -- a $40 tank of diesel will last for almost 1000 km.
However, today I ordered a 2008 Nissan Rogue, which is their new crossover. I needed a little more cargo space than the Jetta could offer...
I also have a 1997 Tercel that gets driven less than 100 km a month by my better half... at that rate, I hope to keep for another 10 years.

My friend has a Turbo'd Caravan that will waste almost anything on the 1/4 mile track. It's pretty funny actually.
