strongly disagree...but I'm not 19 anymore. Too many rez kids thinking they're the cats ass because they have a funny hat, too many stupid cabs planned simply so men can dress up as women etc...It reminds me of high school. Way too much coolness to pack into one place.

I have to agree. I will be dining on their fine patio in just under 2 hours. The Den has been the source of many good times. Although most of the time you have to avoid the cabs.

I agree 95% of the time. I buy only new vehicles and keep them for 10 years or until the missus screams, "I want a new car!!" Whichever comes first.

Running the car for 10 years or more and the depreciation agrument is gone. I also buy quality (Toyota and Honda). Ever checked out the price on a two-year-old Camry? It's not much less than a brand-new one. They keep their value.

My current Camry is 1999 and it never sees the inside of a garage except for regular maintenance.

That's how to buy a new vehicle smartly. But your point is good, usually. I can afford new cars every couple of years but agree that would not be smart.

Well put. I am planning to buy a new vehicle as well, and I intend to keep for awhile. My current vehicle has been about 6 years now, and even with 6 years, it has already been well worth it.

Thanks, Bruce. Can I call you that? I hope it's a well-built vehicle. Lots of domestics are just about done after six years. Buy quality. You'll pay more but it's worth it. Goes for women and cars.

Agreed, my Jeep is 10 years old and showing no signs of slowing down, I have a 27 year old ford truck that I still drive whenever I have to.

Old pickup trucks are invaluable for a home owner. I used to have a 1979 rust bucket Dodge that I bought for $400. But it had a long box and I could load it up with anything. Now that I don't have it I find I need the thing every week.
