My wife had a Pontiac Sunburst when we first got together, now that was a P.O.S
Now she drives a 07 Expedition and I am happy with my 01 F350 supercab 7.3 litre diesel. When Ford can make another decent diesel I might buy another on but until then I am happy with what I got

Awesome. I've owned mine since 1998. Paid $6500 for it then, and it had 150K km. I have 270K km on it now.

Holy overkill Thats like 14L of displacement to move 2 people around.
I'm driving around a 2005 Cobalt SS/SC. Good mix of power/effeciency and surprisingly good handling.

I have a 1995 Ford F150 truck and a 2002 Mustang GT Convertible for myself. My wife drives a 2006 Toyota Rav4 Sport with the V6 (great power and it gets good gas mileage, really happy with it). I used to be really bad for vehicles, but I'm slowly growing up a bit. Although logic would just see me sell the convertible but it's like the last thing I bought when I was a single guy so I hate to just sell it so I can buy a second house or do something logical with the money. But I'll keep it and hope for good inheritance from my inlaws!

Yep, i drive a 1985 pair of legs. They are really reliable, and cost nothing to insure. They get terrible milage, I need to top up the tank 3 times a day!

I looked into getting something newer in an F-350. But all the ones on the lots with really low Km's are 6 litre's. What does it cost to replace an injector? $1000? I think I'll stick with my 7.3L. I will surpass 200,000 km on the way to the game this afternoon.

Oh yeah... 2.9 V6? I had an '89 with that engine and I loved it. Perfect balance between power and fuel efficiency (for my needs, anyway). And with the 3" lift, it was the perfect balance between the 'round town vehicle and great for weekend 4x4ing.
Had to upgrade to something a little more professional though...

Check out the new Flying J truckstop on Barlow and Deerfoot. They have "Cash Diesel" posted at $0.87/litre. I have no idea what "Cash Diesel" means though.....seeing as it's a truckstop you might have to be in some trucker club, similar to the Stonemasons.

250000 km on mine and no major problems so all is good. Yeah those 6.0 litres blow, I have heard nothing but bad things about them

'97 VW Golf CL (1.8L) with about 185,000+ km on it. I bought it about six years ago, and it's been well worth it - that car's a trooper. I'll probably drive it for a couple more years.
