That's fine. I'm superstitious, you aren't. Statistics say that if I'm at the dome and eat a chip the Flames are 100%. If I'm at the dome and don't eat a chip they're 0%. If you want to be statistical. The probablility they're related is, indeed slim, by why tempt fate and the Hockey Gods? There's no reason for that.
True, or maybe this is just an excuse to feed your nacho fetish.

BTW I don't talk about the shutout and I don't talk about winning until that final whistle blows

Anyways...The coolest part of the Dome is looking at the stuff you can't see on TV. Check out the broadcast booth, other details of the building...I dunno, other than the hockey thats what I like about watching games live.

...Unless Im sitting in the Players' Wives Section
Beer was a straight $10 at the Staples Center, $8.75 at the Pond of Anaheim or whatever it's called now.

And they were NOT heroin laced. Crappy American beer.

I'll be going to my first game at the Dome in the next couple weeks since before the Flames made the playoffs. I have no idea what to expect either, the last game I saw at the Dome was a 4-1 win over the Rangers with Chris Clark lighting the lamp. Should be fuuuuuuuun.

Side question here....I lost my Flames jersey at a bar. Haven't gotten another, might wait for the new ones to come out and get one of those, is my red Team Canada jersey acceptable?

This is Lord Stanley we're talking about. Of course it's serious.

No offense to the people who like the Nachos. But I fail to see what is so great about them? How are they any differant than the Nachos that you can get at any other concession stand?
They're not any better. What you basically get are stale, poor quality nacho chips with a few jalapenos from a can thrown on, then a pile of chemical cheese.

People are just trying to be funny, the quality of the nachos is horrid.

###. But while you're eating the whole concoction, you cannot seem to stop. Eating an entire large plate with extra cheese & peppers has proven itself to, in at least a few instances, be the primary cause of another round of 'ring of fire' long after the game is over...

It's signifcantly louder than it was in '04, but lately the 'Dome has been a bit quiet. I'm hoping the energy picks up in the fans a little bit down the stretch, 'cause it definitely helps the players feel more secure in their own building.

Also, Flames jerseys are selling for pretty cheap right now. I think I saw them going for $90 bucks somewhere (the CCM replicas) and will only likely be going back up come Playoff time.

But, so long as you are wearing red...
