Oh yea speaking of that we have not seen one of those yet this season. Wonder if that is going to be used this season.

Charla and Mirna would have beat the 2nd place team by a day if they would have been allowed to take the boat right when they got there instead of having to wait until the next morning. I have a feeling that was rigged to make it more exciting. I mean the sky was blue, not like a storm was impending.
They couldn't let one team finish that far ahead of another and get a full day head start on the next leg (and each leg thereafter assuming they were able to hold on to a full day lead).

Well considering the pit stop is a 12 hour rest period, I supposed the idea is to keep teams within a minimum of 12 hours of each other. It would be funny to see one team leaving the pitstop before others arrive type of thing. But if they didn't hit these snags all the time a team like Rob and Amber probably would have built up a big enough lead early on that they'd still be leading.

Man I had some good laughs at the episode last night. The midget dress up in the suit of armour was really funny. The horse kept walking around her in circles and her partner was standing there screaming at her... I got a good laugh out of that.
It was intersting how some teams were starting the next leg before other finished the previous one. I don't think I've ever seen that before.

Great 2 hour episode.
Mirna and Charla yelling and crying at the Polish taxi driver was pretty funny too.
Auswitch was very eerie and emotional for the teams... Also that fog was so surreal in Poland, seemed almost fake.

Yeah, I almost forgot about that. I love how they expected the guy to help them without paying him anything. And then resorting to the crying and begging when that doesn't work. I mean, he's running a business do they just expect him to help out of the goodness of his heart?
I also notice that team always likes to hire a cab and follow it instead of going to a gas station and buying a map. You have to wonder if that's going to impact them financially and they'll be screwed later on down the road because they spent all their money.
Also, speaking of map, I've been wondering why teams always seem to stop and buy a map. If it were me, I'd buy a road map during some of the downtime when waiting for a plane or bus or whatever. They always seem to have those points where the teams bunch up. I'd use that time to buy a map of wherever I was going. If you don't need it, no big deal, you've only wasted a couple dollars.

I think Mirna wouldn't annoy people so much if she'd stop talking in an accent and calm down a bit. Far too hyper and she starts accenting words to people who don't understand English that well to begin with. My Blondies start that second leg with like a 15 hour lead and than end up 3rd because of that intersection, arghhhh....Oh well we don't get to say it enough....Ha ha Moon you're out!
In regards to Auschwitz, I couldn't imagine what it's like. I've been to the Dachau camp outside of Munich and it's a sobering experience that requires at least a full day just to get a grasp of what happened there. But it's like a Macs Store compared to Chinook centre in comparison to Auschwitz. Just thinking about Dachau brings chills back down my spine, it alters your perception of things for life.

Well Uchenna and Joyce start out in first place and gamble on a short connection window and end up well behind everyone else when they miss out. Sets up a final four of Dustin and Kandice, Charla and Mirna, Eric and Daniel, and Oswald and Danny. For some reason my dirty pirate hooker blondes decide to yield Eric and Daniel. I'm still surprised how Charla and Mirna are doing with all their dramatics, but they seem to be catching flights so far and thats been where they've made up most of their time.

The yield was the correct thing to do. They had no idea where Uchenna and Joyce were (if thye made the connection they would have been ahead of the group the blondes were with) and by that time may have figured out Charla and Mirna were out ahead of everybody. They yielded the people that they figured were furthest behind (I bleive they saw Danny and Oswald). Smart move IMO. Try to guarantee that you won't be last.
What I love is the people that get so pissed off over being yielded. There are 5 team left for goodness sakes. It's in the race to be used and give someone an advantage. Next time get there first!

Yeah, being yielded for an hour isn't the end all of things Dustin and Kandice lost 4 hours because of that intersection last week. That's a lot worse than one hour. I can't remember a race from recent memory where a yielded team lost out because of the Yield. I guess the only thing with the yield is that if you run into another intersection you could get left out again. Than again I think most races only have one of those although this is only the second season where they've had intersections IIRC.

Why oh why do some racers think using a yield is dirty and underhanded play? It's part of the game for goodness sakes. If you don't want to be yielded get to the yield marker first. Yeesh. It is there to be used. When down to the final four it isn't a game between alliances. It's a competition between all teams.
Danielle could be the most useless and whiny racer since Flo. Not that her boyfried Eric is much better. That guy needs to do some growing up. It saddens me that physically they are the strongest team and have a real good chance to win.
Who thinks the noodle guy rejected the blondes first batch of noodles just so he could watch them bounce up and down again?

Wooohoo!!!! I knew my team could do it! I lost interest after Rob and Amber got the boot but I came around and caught the last few weeks. That was definately some clutch work by Danielle, I really think her and Eric make a great team. I was also impressed with Charla and Mirna... no way did I think they would make it past the first couple legs.
I'm sad it's over... I was really starting to enjoy Danielle's assests.
I shall return to defend my title next season!

Well I took the best team available and got the runner up. At least I didn't get a Rico Fata with my number 6 overall pick. Next time I'll have to figure how to get drawn earlier or something. I admit though that this pool and my team being around, kept me watching the show though. Otherwise I likely would have lost interest long ago.
