less sleep is better(around 5-6 hours) than say 8-9. Too much sleep is not good and leaves you tired until you sleep again.

this makes no sense at all, you don't sleep so you don't feel sleepy but if you feel sleepy you should sleep more?

Up: 3AM to get to work at 7AM
Sleep: other than @ work haha, 8:30-9PM

Fortunately, I only have to do this 3 days a week. Before I had to do it Mon-Fri, it was suicide.

That depends entirely on the person, but over 8 hours, or under 6 (if I remember right) on a regular basis for a long period of time, has been correlated with poorer health. I believe that 7 or 8 hours is generally reccommended for adults (not including seniors). Obviously, though, it's necessary to get less sleep sometimes - if you have young kids, for example.

As for myself, I try my hardest to always get 8 hours of sleep.

As a student, I'm usually in bed by 1AM, and up at 9AM. On weekends, I get up sometime around 9-10:30 AM, regardless of when I went to bed. (If I feel a bit groggy on the weekend, it's not a big deal).

When I'm working, I'm usually in bed by 10:30 and up at 6:30.

I notice a huge difference if I change how long I sleep for, and can't stand the feeling of either too much or too little sleep.

I go to bed between midnight and 1 am, and wake up at 8 am to walk my doggy....dont work in the mornings!! The joys of working part time and being a part time housewife.

In bed at midnight (unless Flames are on or drinking and watching other hockey) and up at 6:30 on weekdays. Usually abot 1:00 on weekends and up by 8:30 or 9:00.
