South Park may seem low-brow but it is actually very strong and intelligent on social commentary. They push the boundaries to show what the writers feel are hypocracies about the way people act toward each other, how the media works, how absurd certain conflicts and religions are, how absurd political correctness has overrun society, etc.

A great moment was when evolution aka science won over religion in the schools...(and people say that religion is the cause of all wars). Fast foward a few hundred years (Cartman froze himself in a glacier because he couldn't wait for a Nintendo Wii) and the Earth is destroying itself in wars of science! It was fantastic! I also loved the episode critizising the concept of tolerance in our P.C. society and how tolerance is a delusion and NOT the same as acceptance.

4x4=Southpark LOVER

Far and away the best show on TV. Even Futurama & Family Guy are far behind in hilarity and social commentary.

Southpark is so riddled with north american political and pop culture references, it's amazing.
And there is nothing wrong with looking square in the mirror and making fun of yourself. In fact, it's the best form of humour... IMO...

South Park at first was funny now its just boring, infact I dont even think it's worth debating. They push the limits, ooooh what dare devils.. moving along. Seriously they couldn't come up with a better way to present the characters??? they look like crap and ontop of that they are very predictable, okay I'm done.

South Park, Family Guy, and The Simpsons make up some of the funniest shows on TV. Anything that gives an askewed view and manage to entertain a few while managing to p!ss off others makes for great television.

I've recently discovered Robot Chicken, so it's moved to the top for me:

Robot Chicken
Simpsons
Futurama
South Park
I hate all the other ones.
