Just watched episode 8, Parracide. Wow. There hasn't been an episode like that since Lem's death. It'll be interesting to see how this show finally ends.

I think that episode airs next week in Canada.
These last two episodes in Canada, "Animal Control" and "Bitches Brew" have been just outstanding.

Agreed. Especially Bitches Brew. I missed last weeks episode since I was watching the Flames game, so I downloaded it along with Parracide (since it was sitting there right next to it in the search results and I just couldn't resist).
Anyway, those who have yet to see it are in for a treat. Best episode of the season.

Yup. I just watched Parricide tonight. Unbelievable. It's shows like this, that make me wonder why I waste my time with crap like Heroes and Prison Break.
I can't believe I sold the first four seasons of this show on DVD (to people here, lol). I've got to get my hands on the discs again somehow, because as soon as this series concludes, I want to watch it again.

I watched season 1-6 on dvd over the year and really enjoyed it but had a hard time getting back into it after the first episode of season 7. It sounds like it gets a lot better.. maybe its time to revisit the sheild and finish off what I started.

The last four episodes, I would say, have been the greatest in the series' entire run.

Wow, I really wanna read and follow along with this thread, but Im a week behind in my episodes, so I can't comment nor do I want to be spoiled about whats going on. I'm a huge shield fan, never missed an episode and own them all. I was blown away from what happened in the last episode I watched, so the second to last one most people watched. WOW!!!!!!! I couldn't believe it. Loved how Shane snuck out of the video room so quickly. That was awesome. I'll wait till I see the finale to read this thread.

Well, here we are..one episode left in this epic series. 90 minute series finale airs here in the US next Tuesday night.
At this point, I have no clue what is going to happen and I guess that's a good thing. I am sad that the show is ending. I understand the integrity of the show has to be protected but a certain part of me would've loved to watch these characters for another 10 years. I will definitely miss it.
Once a collector's edition DVD set comes out I may have to dust them off every couple of years and watch the entire series again.

Two more episodes to air here in Canada, I cannot wait. I've re-acquired the first two season of the Shield, and I can't wait to start re-watching the series as soon as the finale airs.

I couldn't hold back so I watched Episode 12 on youtube just now.....OH MY GOOD GOD!!!! I CANT BELIEVE THE LAST 10 MINUTES!!!
90 minute finale in the US on Tuesday, not sure if I can wait till the following Tuesday when I can watch it on a regular TV as opposed to youtube. It's gonna be unreal.

I agree. The last 10 minutes were insane. The finale is going to be nuts. Some ---- is really going to hit the fan.
btw, torrents are a far better method than youtube for watching it early...

Are we ok to discuss spoliers here...through episode 12 I mean? I'm itching for some conversation on what could happen.

What is episode 12? Is that the one you saw last, and the one we get next week? If you are going to discuss it, let me know, and I'll steer clear of the tread.

I think it's on on Tuesdays but it's at least an episode behind fx. I have always downloaded it.
I would like to discuss it as well. We can always white text any season 7 discussion.

Sounds good. I don't want to ruin it for anyone, I would hate it if it happened to me. White text it is!
SPOILER BELOW:
I can't see Vic throwing Ronnie under the bus to save himself. There's a part of me that believes, despite all that he's done, that Vic is loyal to the end. He would be loyal to Shane too, had he not ended Lem. So, to me I it would seem that something is going to happen to get Ronnie off...or maybe I have just totally misjudged Vic!
