You kno wthe room where you talk to the guy who gets you to sneak in to Ulrichs quarters (Garrus i think). Leave that part of the castle, then veer around it to the right (past the entrance) and then go into the barracks. Ulrichs quarters is downstairs on the left corner of the screen.
btw awesome game!

Essentially done nothing but explore for over 12 hours...a great great game. Visuals are truly stunning.
I was reading a review online and apparently there is a mission in which an artist is trapped in his magical painting. You have to go into the painting to get him out. Once inside everything is in watercolours!

Man I just went into the city for the first time. Only level 2 so far.
I have no idea how to pick locks , I can't even do two let alone 3, I end up having to autotry and burn through lockpicks to get it open.
Haven't figured out the pursuasion minigame yet either.

Persausion mini game works like this:
The person always had 2 things which will increase his likeness towards you, and 2 things which will make him hate you. So, the first round, remember which 2 are the good things.
Then, make sure you line up the Big fat pieces over the things he likes, and try to make sure the little pieces go for the things he doesn't like. Takes a bit of practise, but you can get it to go.
As you increase in Lockpicking skill, you can pick locks much more easily, it sucks right now when it is low.

I've been waiting for this game forever it seems, and now that it's finally been released I've come to the realization that I need to more or less buy a new computer to play it. Balls.

Done that one, so cool. Reminds of me kings quest. I played Morrowind but this one just blows it away, and Morrowind was awesome too!

Just picked up the 360 Collector's Edition. Now I need some free time to sit down and play it.
The packaging is really nice. The map should be helpful and the book with the history should help as well. Did the PC CE version come with the coin as well?
I'm really looking forward to this one. Spent too much time playing Morrowind.

I don't know, how do you check?
Anyhoo, I bought myself a nice GeForce 7900GT OC Should arrive Monday. Replace my 6600GT which wasn't quite cutting the mustard.
Haven't played in a couple days and am having withdrawl. lol
Also for the dude saying he should play Morrowind, Oblivion trumps that ten fold.

In the save/load game menu, it should have a counter beside it which says how many hours you have.

Trying to run it at 1280x1024 with full settings and AA though, probably not realistic. I haven't tried OCing my new PC though yet, and hopefully a good tweak guide will come out (one that shows with screenshots the exact effect changing each thing has, I saw one like that for BF2 that was awesome).
|
Heh, the same thing happened to me.
Where you able to find a good tweak guide? I looked for a few minutes but didnt find one.
My computer is 'decent', but not great.
Athlon 64 3800+
2 GB DDR Ram
256 MB Geforce 6600 (the real problem for this game)
My problem, as always with gaming, is I like the great detail that full settings offer, but cant play a game of this style with poor frame rates.
I'd hate to have to turn all the detail off in order to have good framerates.
