We can certainly argue that the flippant use of the word "######ed" should be out of bounds but labelling someone as stupid with the non-existent "retarted" couldn't have a bigger boomerang going for it.
In my last job I received an e-mail from the boss's boss congratulating me on completing some licensing requirements in record time. Followed it up by saying I must be in Menza or something.

If all you guys can do is bitch and moan about grammar and spelling, than I would like to submit what drives me crazy more then anything else.

EDIT: for spelling.

I get a real kick out of grammar nazi's. I do it on purpose sometimes, because I know it aggravates the hell outta some people on here.

Yes I know I typed out my post to quick and forgot to punctuate it but irregardless I could care less if you think I'm retarted and it bugs you all nite.

But we can't help it! They just jump out you sometimes, even if you're not actively looking for errors.

I'm going into convulsions reading your last paragraph. (You really should of clumped it all up into one ball of text, just to aggravate fotze a little bit).

I'm not all 'nazi' about it though, as I understand that people posting on a forum are not overly concerned with spelling and grammar (and knowing that I'm bound to make my share of mistakes, which I won't catch prior to clicking 'submit reply.')

Why is it so tough to spell it 'tonight'? This started appearing all the time within the last year and it's the only grammar/spelling mistake I absolutely can't stand.
Sadly, I think that within 50 years or so "tonite" is going to be considered the correct spelling. I think a lot of the "gh"s in the English language are getting dropped as time goes by. Through is becoming thru. When was the last time you went to a "drive-through?"

Why sadly? Language evolves, and becomes more efficient (note the poor comma use!). Writing should be artful or efficient, and I don't see how extra letters add anything to either one. I completely understand the h8 for Messenger-Speak, as I don't get it, but extraneous letters seem a silly artifact to me.
