I don’t know why but I find it genuinely funny that so many people seem to have no idea who plays for Carolina or what positions they play. Not just this thread either, it comes up all the time. And myself included. Possibly the least interesting team in the league.

I think there is enough wiggle room on his NTC for the Flames to trade him without asking him to waive but they need a team that wasn’t obvious to step up with an offer to force the decision. Guaranteed he put the most obvious trade partners on his NTC.

Kadri was just wrong place at the wrong time. Woulda been better had we gotten back when it was rumored we were trying to trade Brodie for him. Kadri woulda been here during our best window with Monny, Johnny, Lindy, and Chucky.

My bad - I thought I recalled they had a young Russian kid they were using at C. I assumed that was him.

EDIT: I had the wrong team entirely - it’s Yurov in Minnie I was thinking of (I get Minnie and Carolina mixed up a lot because they are similarly situated to me development wise).

But anyway, Carolina is on Kadri's no trade list.

Like I said above, I get them and Minnie mixed up as far as personnel. I don’t really know why. Maybe because they are good teams but haven’t been elite, and haven’t played for the cup recently.

Digging more they have some decent pieces in my eyes still. If they want to go all in, Ryder Ritchie (looking good in NCAA, C/RW) or Kiviharju (looked good at WJC, LD)
